PK for Pets - Pet Cremation

I recently had my sweet boy, Theo, pass away on New Year’s Day. He was a 10 year old rabbit. I was a wreck and didn’t know how to handle such a great loss. He was my little buddy and I was worried that wherever I ended up going with, would treat me differently or look at me like I was dramatic or silly in some way just because he was a rabbit, but I can tell you that it was the complete opposite with PK for Pets. I didn’t even expect anyone to answer the phone with it being a holiday, but they did. I was crying and struggling to find the words and I can’t even find the words now to explain how amazing PK for Pets was to me. The level of comfort and compassion and empathy that I felt from that very first phone call all the way to today is unlike anything I have ever experienced. I also feel that it is VERY fair pricing for the amount of care and time that I know was part of this. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Everything was so professional, empathetic, private, peaceful. I knew immediately that Theo would be cared for with the respect and love that he deserved. I was able to take Theo back home with me the very next day. I was assured that he would be cremated alone. I was given a cremation certificate along with grief information and other sweet belongings. They even went above and beyond and got me ink prints of his paws as well as a clay impression for me. The wooden engraved box is beyond beautiful. It is so far beyond what I could have ever expected. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. Words can’t ever express my gratitude for what you have done for me. I know that Theo was in the best hands with your care.

We lost our fur baby, Vegas, to pancreatitis and diabetic kido acidosis. It came on suddenly. He was doing great on Friday and we let him go on Monday morning. Steve and all of the rest of the crew at PK for Pets were wonderful. From the private entrance in the garage to the easy way Steve handled out little bundle, it was so compassionate. And knowing that he would be cremated alone and we were assured of getting his ashes back was what we were hoping for. He came back home the very next day. They do a paw print as well as an engraved box. They both look great. We would highly recommend PK for Pets if you need services after your pet has crossed the rainbow bridge.

I am blessed that PK for pets existed. My beloved Husky passed and some may say pets are pets, but our Husky was a family member. Although we had to travel an hour from Minneapolis to Faribault, it was worth the trip. John and his team went beyond in making sure that our Husky would leave with dignity. Their team made sure all our concerns were answered, and the amount of empathy from his team is unmatched. Their service ensured that our late pet was cremated alone, which was our biggest concern from other pet cremations, and made sure we were comfortable before being able to say our final goodbyes. I could not thank them enough for this next part. Given that we were an hour away and wanted to make sure we could pick up the remains the same day, they had staff stay past closing to make sure we were able to get our Husky’s remains. PK for Pets took the absolute best care of my Hunter. I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with him. They were compassionate and caring through the whole process. I would 100% recommend PK for Pets for anyone who is going through this heartbreaking situation.
