It can feel a little odd to write a review for a funeral home service, since the occasion is so somber and momentous. However, I must say that Heritage truly went above and beyond and made the experience as special as possible. Every detail thought of, every t crossed and i dotted. During our most vulnerable and saddest and sacred moments, they were there with the necessary answers. If you have the option to consider your options, choose Heritage. You won’t be disappointed.

My mother was 93 and suffered from dementia prior to her passing. We (My siblings and I) Preplanned my mother‘s funeral At Heritage Life Story as most of our family, in years past, had also used them. This was not because of tradition, but because of the care, quality and professionalism of everyone who worked there. We worked with Mellisa during our preplanning stage. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, as well as personable and made the process easy and not stressful, When our mother passed, Rob, one of the funeral directors helped us finalize her plans and explained options and costs, making sure that we knew what we could do to stay within our budget. Rob also did our mom’s life story exactly how she would have wanted it to be, a joyful occasion celebrating her long life leaving us with tears of joy and hearts full of gratitude to have been blessed with her for such a long time. It has been three weeks since that day, and Heritage has stayed in contact with us to make sure we are doing OK and offering grief support should we need it. I highly recommend Heritage Life Story Funeral Home. My mom looked beautiful, the service was beautiful and heartfelt, and everyone was professional, kind and very real. We employed the services of this Funeral Home on an emergency basis, and had to conduct our business over the phone while traveling. Employees were very compassionate, kind, helpful with needed information, and had the necessary services performed in a very timely manner. They have even followed up with helpful websites for after-death support. I highly recommend this business.

We have had two experiences in the past 8 years. Heritage served us in 2017 when our dad passed away and just recently with our mom. The staff was incredibly helpful, sensitive and caring. Everything we needed, even at the 11th hour, was handled an managed. It is a real blessing when everything happens almost invisibly. Even their announcements and instructions were delivered in the most gentle, warm way. One of the best aspects of Heritage is the life story piece. They helped us capture and retain memories through portraits, bookmarks and memory books. This is a very professional group that made us feel like we were the one and only.

Special thank you to Melissa who helped me make pre arrangements for my mother despite my phobia surrounding funeral homes. She was patient and understanding and made me feel comfortable. When my mother passed away in February 2025, in my home, Ted and partner came to my home and handled things very professionally.
