Had an amazing experience last Saturday thanks to this beautiful lady. Heard about Doggy Day Out or Doggy Getaway through socials. At first I was apprehensive about taking a dog out for a day because at the moment my schedule is quite busy. Any one reading this and thinking about adopting, volunteering, donating, or Doggy Getaway please go here. There's lots of shelter animals that had a hard life before there time here and they need some love if not permanently atleast for a day.
Adopt, don’t shop! I adopted my cat Athena here a few months ago. She was $75 and was up to date on shots, fixed and microchipped. They also send you with a full bag of food and a couple of toys. They additionally provide a free first vet appointment. Athena has changed mine and my boyfriend’s lives and we are so happy with her! Thank you humane society!!
Adopted a very beautiful little pit bull terrier. My new best friend. He is incredibly smart, house trained and very loving. He is adapting to his new environment very well and I appreciate all of the staff at the Michigan Mackey Humane Society for their assistance during the adoption process. He is a perfect addition to my family.
