Happy with the service, as happy as you can be at a funeral home. Professional. No lauging or joking like other places like nordgren. Not that i want a place for this kind of thing ever again but this place will be an option again.
Our family used Graham Putnam & Mahoney twice, once in 2003 and recently this past week in Nov 2020. Our experience exceeds 5 stars. The team is respectful, polite, courteous, understanding and professional. Peter is just a wonderful human being. He is super helpful and arranged everything. He is informative and super resourceful. If you need anything or just advice, he will recommend people he trusts and we trust Peter. Peter is like an attorney and a psychiatrist to our family. In times of death, Peter is able to bring a smile to everyone at the wake and funeral. Let that comment sink in for a few minutes. During this Covid time, everyone who attended the wake at Graham Putnam & Mahoney felt safe. Team members all wore masks. There were signs of social distancing and they were enforced. The inside was clean, bright, and comfortable. There were multiple rooms with seats. The casket, flowers and pictures were laid out beautifully. We think ambiance is the most important thing at a wake and Graham Putnam & Mahoney just felt right to everyone. The ambiance was that of peace, respect, brightness and positivity. Our family is Catholic but those who weren't Catholic had no issues paying their respects. The drive from the funeral home to the church was fast and orderly. There were several cars to ensure our group traveled together. Just want to reiterate that the entire team at Graham Putnam & Mahoney are total professionals. Our family is happy and proud that we were able to lay to rest our loved ones with the help of Graham Putnam & Mahoney. Thank you
My sister Theresa Pinto passed away. I can’tfind her obituary anywhere. I’ve asked for the certificate several times, including when I retrieved her ashes I was told they mail them to me and they never did However, I did pay for these copies
Worst funeral home ever. Unprofessional. The funeral director interrupted our loved one’s services multiple times to discuss finances and paperwork in front of friends and family during the services. Staff told us to ‘wrap things up’ a half hour before the calling hours were over- people were still coming in to pay their respects. And the funeral director told my mother and nephew that it was ‘time to leave’ when they were kneeling at my brother’s coffin paying their final respects. This place has zero class and zero respect for families of the deceased. Multiple letters were sent to the owner Peter Stefan and he never resolved anything and decided our complaints weren’t important enough to continue investigating and has yet to respond. It may be the cheapest in the city, but their services aren’t even worth a penny.
I was raised in Worcester, MA.. now residing in Florida. I have to say that for the years of growing up in Worcester, this funeral has always been there for everyone & specially the poor. Business is business. No matter what the person has done in the past he deserves a burial. & what the owner of Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral did has nothing to do with his services for the public. Although, I've never met him in person, I might've seen him in the past I thank him for always being there to help the community & a lot of them were people that couldn't afford the funeral, Peter was there to help out. God bless you for having such a good heart.
