Very knowledgeable and honest. We were able to set up an appointment quickly and easily. Extremely gentle and thorough checkup. Cats were relaxed and comfortable throughout the appointment. He prescribed medication and did a thorough follow up when we called, giving us options and recommendations for how to move forward. The entire checkup was still less expensive than expected and multiple offers and options for pet insurance were mentioned and explained

My dog had been experiencing excessive drooling over the past few months, which was particularly concerning given that he is an 8-year-old French Bulldog. When seeking treatment, we prioritized not only cost but also the comfort and safety of our dog, as putting a short-nosed dog under anesthesia can be very concerning. We consulted multiple veterinary practices and received consistent recommendations from each. Ultimately, we chose Boston Animal Hospital North Station, drawn both by the pricing and the genuine care demonstrated by Dr. Hemstreet. Our dog required two attempts at the procedure, and at no point was there any fault on the part of the doctors. They carefully outlined the associated risks, and in my opinion, made the best decisions for each situation. At every step, their recommendations were guided by my dog’s health and well-being rather than financial considerations. Dr. Monteiro, led the second surgery, and thoroughly explained each step of the procedure and his reasoning, demonstrating a level of care and professionalism that went above and beyond our expectations. I also want to thank the wonderful staff, who are incredibly helpful and understanding. They always remember Frank by name when I call and are consistently friendly and supportive, which makes every visit much easier. It is important for me to note that I am writing this as my husband is checking out, and not once did anyone ask us to leave a review. I mention this because I am sometimes skeptical when reading other reviews. Our experience here was genuinely that fantastic.

We moved to Boston from Boulder last week. Just prior to moving my dog had an unexpected major surgery so we wanted to get in with a vet as soon as we got settled. Boston Animal Hospital was convenient and is in walking distance from our new home, but more importantly the reviews were great and the hours work for my busy schedule. Our eval could not have gone better. We saw Dr Monteiro who was great with my dog... got on the floor with him, answered all my questions, and was very informative and thorough. I had some lingering concerns from CO and he addressed all of them. I never felt addressed through the appt. The rest of the staff we met was equally great. They were all so friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated.

Had a great experience with the North Station Office. We usually go to the South boston office but NS was able to get us in sooner as Trevor had a MPL issue that needed immediate attention. The Emilies ( front desk Emily and vet tech Emily) were kind and understanding for this worried dog Mom! Sherry was so kind too. Vet explained everything in detail and gave sound information in regards to options for my morkie’s car Will definitely return🥰
