I had a very nice experience at Joesph H. Brown funeral home. The staff were well groomed, I loved the purple they wore representing ROYALTY, they all were welcoming and showed great hospitality. The facility was clean and well maintained, and even the bathrooms were spotless and smelled nice. The fella who sung the selections was on time. Overall, their attention to detail really stood out to me during such an important time of my loved ones.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The staff were super professional, supportive and helpful! Ms. Mance is one of a kind! She is the most sweetest, supportive person I’ve ever met. The owner of Joseph H. Brown, Jr. Funeral Home is sincerely dedicated to providing quality and affordable funeral services and products to families. He is very knowledgeable about mortuary business trends in America. I was granted a tour of the funeral home, including its $2 million, newly constructed, state-of-the-art crematory center. In the lobby, there is historical and legacy information about the funeral home's past ownership, growth and service to the community. The buildings and grounds are well-kept, accessible and very inviting. The owners were welcoming, very professional and great listeners, interested in answering questions and knowing about my interests. All of the rooms including the lobby area, conference room, waiting room, crematory center and platform area were built to specifically address needs of families. Questions were answered about funeral services, products, the crematory center, urns, family rooms, emissions, new technology and so much more. I give this funeral home a rating of 5.

I had no choice but to file a complaint today with the Maryland Attorney General and the Maryland State Board of Funeral Directors. This is the most unprofessional funeral home I've ever dealt with. A civil lawsuit is next. I wouldn't even attend a service these people were in charge of. Terrible.
