Amazing people. I adopted Jon Snow from there about 5 years ago, and I also go back for his shots. I just got my newest kitten Milo neutered, and he got his shots there as well. I appreciate everything the staff has done for me as well as how friendly and loving they are with the pets.
Very informed and friendly staff. You can tell they love the animals and care about connecting them with good homes. We were immediately connected with a staff member upon signing in and shown the adoptable cats. A great experience and we will be looking online! Would recommend looking at the website before going in- they update it as soon as new arrivals come in.
Our little family was nearly a week out of having to put our elderly and sick cat down, and when we decided it was time to welcome another cat into our home our first stop was the Humane Society. We originally planned on going around and seeing who was available, but the customer service we received from the lovely volunteers and other workers at the Humane Society convinced us this was the place we needed to be. They were knowledgeable about each and every cat, worked with our family to ensure we brought the best fit home, and sent us off with resources and clear instructions on what we needed to do to keep our new kittens safe and healthy. Would highly reccomend!
I’ve gone to Bmore Humane a few times without issue especially after losing my job and not being able to return to our typical vet. I have a very anxious pup and they were initially very accommodating. However the last time we encountered someone else who is now making up lies regarding my dogs behavior. I acknowledge and am aware that he is very anxious and I understand how that can turn into aggression in many cases but his behavior has never been documented as aggressive ANYWHERE but here. It’s really disappointing. As I said I lost my job and I’m trying to manage as a single mother and now student and when I completed a surrender application which is already really hard, to see them completely fabricate a lie that he was “very dog aggressive” and lunged at a vet is mindblowing. I would be doing others a disservice by not stating my truth. If they reply I’m sure they will defend their lie or be dismissive to the post in general either way beware.
