Brooklawn Memorial Park

Peace to all whose have loved ones are interred here. I stopped by to walk on a lovely Fall day on leaving the Mall after Lunch. Very peaceful, well maintained extensive grounds - great place for contemplation, prayer, peaceful meditation, contact with Nature. Look forward to stopping by again - gravel road surface is excellent for walking.

Lots of my family are interred here, and it's always kept so clean, and beautiful. On a service level, the staff are beyond exceptional! They are extremely competent, respectful, and professional! I definitely want them helping my family when it's my time.

Please beware before you make arrangements. I was treated poorly at a time of deep sorrow and shock. My brother didn't include me in the arrangements but yet my signature was needed before cremation. I was expecting to be treated with compassion and that's not what I received when I asked to say goodbye to my mother who was taken from us unexpectedly. I was told they couldn't let me see her and the cost would be $700!!! If I had anything to do with where my mom got cremated it would have been somewhere else. I didn't deserve to be treated so poorly.

The staff did a great job of making our family feel comfortable and took great care with my nanas ashes. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of.

Very neat attractive cemetery but one of the ones that requires only flat slab grave markers, which I hate. No character and makes it hard to find graves. Attended my brother's memorial service here and never actually saw the marker as people standing around it.
