United Fire and Water is expert water damage, disaster restoration, and mold remediation company serving customers in Baton Rouge and other cities in Louisiana.
United Fire and Water helped me recently with the mitigation of my house after a pipe busted and water got everywhere. They were always on time and helpful with any questions I had! And they updated me daily on the drying process and what they were doing. Very friendly and polite also. I would highly recommend them for their services. Edgardo, Leroy, Beau and their workers carefully packed up my furniture and belongings and worked swiftly to get my house back in order and were very thoughtful to make sure I had everything back where I wanted it. It makes a bad situation not so bad when you have great service!
Our dining room developed a leak on the inside and it stressed me out because I had no idea who to call or what to do. Luckily in my subdivision another house was having a similar problem. I talked with the owner and he devised me to call United Fire and Water to have them perform a leak detection and determine how the water was getting thought the stucco and into the house. When I called April answered, listened to my problem and scheduled Brandon to do the leak detection the next morning. Brandon arrived the next morning on time, did the leak detection and immediately started mitigation. Working with April and Brandon I filed an insurance claim and got the repair process started. My problem was turned over to Project Manager Beau Shamburger. I knew from the first time Beau came out and we discussed my problem that I wanted United to repair my window and I did not need to look any further. The concern that April, Brandon and Beau had for me and their efforts in helping me repair the leak and relieve my stress was outstanding. From my first call to completion everyone I dealt with from United were professional, courteous, and always on time. Because of the help I received from theUnited team, the process that was stressing me out turned out to be fairly easy. If I have a similar problem in the future or have the opportunity to recommend United I will definitely use and recommend them. Jack Brown
United Fire & Water (Baton Rouge) were on the job immediately after the leak behind my kitchen sink drain was discovered. They did a phenomenal job of mitigation and rebuilding my kitchen. Kyles crews got busy right away, removing EVERYTHING, from the floors on up to the cabinets. Beau was then left with the tough job of guiding me through picking out all of the new components for the perfect kitchen, from the porcelain floors, new custom cabinets, lovely stone countertops and breathtaking back splash...I LOVE my new kitchen. It's so bright and cheery, it makes cooking so much more fun! Thank you Beau! You managed to bring all of it together for me and LeRoy was great too!!! I hope I never have a leaky kitchen again, but if I do...my first call after the plumber will be to United Fire & Water!!! 'Wish I could leave pictures from start to finish, because the difference was amazing. THANK YOU ALL!!!!
We had extensive damage to the back wall of our two-story home caused by Formosan termites. I got three estimates on the repair. I chose United despite their estimate being, by a small margin, the highest. United's Beau Shamburger spent more time than the people who gave me estimates put together and considered places the termites might have gotten into that the others never mentioned. He even came back with others later that day and the next with others to get their opinions on the damage. I was concerned that a quick estimate would lead to more damage being found entailing more expense. I felt that Beau had the best grasp of the situation. The next part was the worst part, waiting two months for engineering and architect reports while having only a plastic sheet keeping some of the intense summer heat out. Once work began, it went on continuously until finished. Adam Godso, who oversaw our project, kept us informed as to what was going on and what would be coming up next and was very responsive to any concerns that we had. April Stanford, in the office, also sent on the engineer and architect reports as she received them and other info as needed. There were some slight problems (for instance, a scaffold part was dropped on the optic fiber internet connection knocking our internet out for a few days) so if this were a 10-point scale I would give United a 9. Being conservative, I would normally truncate a 4.5 rating to a 4 but I have heard of such horror stories concerning projects of this kind that I am going to make it a 5. So nice to have a complete house again and better built and better looking than before!
My experience with United Fire & Water was awesome. I had water leak damage in master bathroom due to busted pipe in the shower. It left damage to wall and carpet flooring in the master closet. Mr Louis arrived promptly and got the ball rolling by taking pictures and getting an estimate done (thank you Mr Louis). The entire staff and crew was amazing. April Stafford made sure my insurance company had all documentation needed to process my claim (thank you April, excellent job). Beau Shamburger and Kyle Guilbault stayed in contact we me throughout the entire process to make sure everything went well, and it did (thank you Beau and Kyle). I highly recommend this company. They will be the first company I call if needed in the future. Willie & Irene MçCray
