At Sherwood South Animal Hospital Emergency & Critical Care Center, we offer the very best veterinary care to your pets as our patients.
We are new to this vet, however Dr Lee was recommended to us. What a great experience from the greeting from the front office staff to Dr Lee. He was amazing and took his time with us. We had lots of questions as new puppy parents. We were not rushed. I also like they have 24/7 emergency services as part of their offering. We have found a new home for our dog and soon cat. Highly recommend them!! Exceptional customer service!!
My 4-year old standard poodle had bloat and GDV one week ago. It was a Sunday morning at 7am. They not only worked with us on options, but my dog was back to her happy self within 4 days. There were no complications. Dr. Crawford knew exactly what he was talking about from the very beginning. This was the scariest moment of my life as a pet owner, and they really knew how to handle us with care in such a stressful time. I’m so thankful for them! Each new day I get with Remi is because of them!
My cat had been acting weird before I brought him to the vet. Luckily Dr.Crawford knew what was wrong with him in a couple minutes. Though I wished the technician was more informative when I was signing the permission sheet to give my cat a catheter. I felt uneasy for only being given half of the information. Dr.Crawford came in while I was mid signing the sheet and I felt more at ease on why they were doing it. Other than that, everything went well. I’m happy I brought my cat to the ER and got the care that he needed.
We had to bring Remy to Sherwood South for an ER visit due to his dew claw . They were fabulous, and we are extremely satisfied with the level of care that they provided for my sweet boy. Excellent experience and everyone was nice and patient. Highly recommend , Thank you !!!
Although I do like the vets, their approach and pricing for euthanasia is exorbitant. After we had our first dog euthanized there, I gave them some feedback on their process and their pricing. Our dog was there 3 days before he was picked up for cremation. They stream lined that proces for our second pet, but the pricing was even more outrageous. In Georgia if you were a patient of record, they euthanized for free. At a time that is very painful and stressful, this is a heartfelt courtesy. When I paid to euthanize a homeless veterans dog in Georgia, it cost $50 since he was not a patient of record. I did not begrudge that charge at all. However, the charge here is probably not affordable by many and dogs are dumped for this reason. I won't return here for services.
