Please consider improving your customer service skills. I called to get an idea of the cost of the service and the person who answered was skeptical and judgemental. He slowed his speech and elongated the words he was using like I was a child who didn’t understand that the vet is supposed to act as a middle man for these things. He didn’t seem to care when I explained that I had to bring his body home to the other rabbits he was bonded with so that they knew he was gone, which is why I was calling from home. Before bringing him back to the vet for cremation/aquamation, I wanted to get an idea of the costs because I’m also considering burying him. He just asked me who my vet was and emphasized they’re really only set up to go through vets and not through the parents. I didn’t call to commit to anything, I just wanted to get an idea of the cost. Eventually he did do that, which I appreciate, but this experience was a bit of insult to injury when my baby just died. I really thought he was going to be fine, I don’t want to be calling you either! I don’t want to have to know your prices and to have to make these decisions right now, please don’t make this worse by being rude to me.
