Everything was beautiful..." With a 4.0-star rating, Charbonn
Services for a friend were held there last Saturday. Everything was beautiful and respectful. It was my first true New Orleans service and I was amazed by how everything was perfectly organized and seamless. This is a great team of professionals that go out of their way to help.
I had my son’s Services here. It was a beautiful service, but what I did not like was the funeral directors coming over to interrupt and in the services. It seemed kind of cold. I did like the communication with them calling me back, and the way they knew how to handle everything. I provided the decorations and my son. I had boxes of stuff there. I was so devastated at the end and particularly give them the box that my son was in, but they already knew to keep that box (Which I did not show them) and return the rest. I was also able to make the last payment two days before his services. another issue that I had was that it took months for me to get my sons death certificates. They told me that it would be mailed to me from the state, but it wasn’t. They had the certificates the whole time and they never contacted me about them.
Locally owned and run by a truly amazing family that genuinely care, I highly recommend their services.
Zondra did a wonderful job with my father. Everything was amazing. However, when I came to pick up some paperwork from Chelsea she was extremely rude and disrespectful, mind you I had to come up there twice because she wasn’t there when she intially told me she would be. She rolled her eyes and used excessive language and tone. She also slapped my papers on the table and walked off leaving me at the receptions desk. I spoke with Mr Charbonet and asked if she could apologize. I didn’t get an apology at all. He seemed to be trying to convince her that she was in the wrong instead of just telling her to apologize. At that point I was even more upset and told them I’m leaving with no intention of ever doing business with them again. I missed 3 appointments because of this horrible Chelsea person. It was a horrible experience especially when you are in a state of grief. I pray that the Ancestors remove her from that line of work. With that attitude a drive thru environment would be more befitting of her.
I was extremely disappointed that my granddaughter name was not posted in the obituary. Due to my daughter was incapable of going to funeral home she put her trust in someone to handle everything that said they could help and worked with this company. When I called to ask questions the young lady who was handling, was rude and unprofessional. But I believe it was the owner he did apologize to my daughter.
