One of the worst things that happens to us during our journey here on earth is to lose a loved one. The staff at Resthaven was exactly what my family needed. They worked with the funeral home in Connecticut, where my dad passed away unexpectedly, to get my dad back to Baton Rouge and kept us informed every step of the way. They even worked with us to create a unique piece to sit atop of my dad’s casket and it perfectly represented my dad’s passion. They didn’t have to do any of the wonderful things to help us before, during, and after my dad’s funeral, but they did.
