I have to say My family and I received the best service in our Time of Need. Everyone was very helpful and extremely friendly. They done a great job when they prepared my Mother for viewing. She looked just like she did before she got sick. I can't thank the Team enough for everything. Kirt was excellent,he has help me twice before my mother. I will be forever grateful for his help. I want to commend Mothe for hiring Shannon O’Brien!! My Dad passed at 97 suddenly and we needed to make quick arrangements. God blessed us with Shannon and we immediately knew that everything would be ok. From her firm reassurance to her calm, professional actions, decisions were quick and easy to make, and most of all, anything was possible. She stayed in constant touch with us being aware of our needs and desires eliminating any cause for concern. Being the daughter, I had some special requests which she easily handled while at the same time letting me know it was ok to want to hold on in unique ways!! She gave us ideas about cards, ceremonies and obits and handled the coordination and finances in a knowledgeable and warm way. The first day we met and chose my Dad’s beautiful casket, I knew it would be a celebration of his life. On the actual funeral day, Shannon was everywhere!!!Just her presence calmed me and her eye for detail coupled with the deep love and respect we felt for her, made my Dad’s funeral so much more than I ever thought it could be!! I wish all services had people like Shannon. I love her soft tone, respectful attitude and knowledgeable ways to get things done seamlessly. Roy and I are happy to give a referral to anyone that may want to have her as their funeral director. I recently had to have my cousin, Frankie, cremaated. It was sudden, and we did not have any previous plans. Elizabeth Schoen was so helpful. I was treated with respect and professionalism and was guided by her wisdom. Many thanks to her the the entire staff at Mothe's.

Funeral Director Shannon O’Brien served my mother with the dignity and honor she deserved. From the first appointment to make funeral arrangements through the day of the funeral everything was perfection. My mother looked beautiful. The staff at Mothe’s funeral home in Marrero was top notch and the funeral home in Marrero is beautiful.

Unfortunately I have had to use the services of Mothe's twice in the last 6 months. They have proven to be very sensitive to the needs of myself and my family and showed the utmost respect for my lost very beloved ones. Our family has always used Mothe's since the original place in Algiers. Highly recommend but hope I don't need them again anytime soon.
