Neptune Society

My family has used Neptune Society 3 times within the past 5 years. My grandparents purchased their packages years ago. My grandma’s process with my grandfather was very smooth. They even delivered the ashes to her home and put them in the urn for us(December 2020). My grandmas process was extremely smooth as well, even with family wrongly trying to obtain her ashes. The only hiccup with that time was no one communicated we needed to sign documents for her cremation process, so she was in the morgue a little longer than she should’ve been. Aside from that — I was so pleased with their work, I purchased a package for my father last year. Super easy process, all done within a hour or two. Temporary card with phone number to call for pick up was very useful as my father passed away before the wallet sized card came. I also love that they reach out and check up on you. They’re extremely personable and th 12 weeks of grieving emails are worth the read. I will recommend this company to anyone that asks where they should go. I also can’t forget to mention, children and grandchildren born before passing and under the age of 21, will receive cremation free of charge for forbid anything happen!!

We have used the Neptune Society services a few times now. In every case they are very professional, caring and help in every way at these critical life junctions. I highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend using the Neptune Society for your cremation needs. They were very compassionate and took care of everything including death certificates.

Avoid this company! They do not do what they say!!! I received a price from Steve but when he sent quote it was $700 higher. He did correct and sent revised quote. 5/6/25 we agreed to have Neptune pick up my father. Papers were signed with the corner5/6/25. We were told he would be picked up the next day on 5/7/25. The next day 5/7/25 he was still not picked up. When I ask Steve texted that he sent the pick up team to Louisville and not Union County where he is. No one called or even reached out to see why he was not where they were sent. Today 5/8/25 he was still not picked up. I had to call them and eventually was told they never made it to Union County because there was only a few staff picking up loved ones. I would never recommend Neptune Society to anyone. If this is the way they treat customers I don't see how they stay in business. It is bad enough dealing with the death of your father but having to deal with this from a cremation company is unacceptable!

It was very informative, low pressure. & hugely relieving. They have payment plans & a travel plan That I got because I am out of state 2 or 3 times a year. The Travel Plan covers you wherever you pass away & gets you back to your home State & family. I'm very pleased & impressed with the Neptune Society.
