Arch L Heady at Westport Rd did such a wonderful job with my husband's service. They took care of all the details beautifully and made planning the service so much easier on me. It was such a relief to me.

Recently I lost a loved one and felt it was necessary to explain my experience with Arch l. Heady & Son Funeral home. This was was my first time losing someone so close and having to organize all the material for the service I just did not know what to expect. My family and I worked directly with Brad who is one of the directors. I was pleasantly surprised at the smoothness of the process. I would like to point out Brad specifically as he worked directly with the family. Brad was attentive, quick, empathetic yet direct and great through our time with him. During the service Brad and his team made sure that everything is taken care of and brought a calming energy that made you feel more at ease. I had some items I wanted to set up and was given the freedom to do so and the assistance offered for that as well. Having that freedom with the venue space really felt nice because it not only gave me the option to make the space my own but also made things less structured in a good way and not so strict. You really are given the option to do whatever you want for your service so it's whatever you prefer. On a side note we did include the food service with honey baked ham and I definitely recommend it. This package included several hefty slider sandwiches that were very good and brownies. The kitchen area was spacious with a full refrigerator for additional drinks, food or flowers? There was also room to clean up if needed. If I had to offer any constructive criticism it would only be about the restroom area. While there is a beautiful parlor in the ladies room it only offers two stalls. This created quite a challenge when it came to several people and their nerves so maybe a additional restroom would be ideal. On behalf of the family we thank Brad for all his efforts and support during this difficult time and we would recommend him to anyone going through this difficult situation. This venue felt relaxed, informal yet elegant, modern yet traditional and not much grief but reminiscing. Losing a loved one is never easy and a very delicate time for the family and I can confidently say this is something Arch l. Heady & Son respected.

The team here sets the bar, without a doubt. We prerearranged services for my folks 2 years ago, and it was a smooth experience then. We just lost my father and had to use the services we had set up and it was just as smooth now. Our meeting prior to the service to finalize details was efficient and easy. The facilities are very nice and comfortable. Sam and the staff went above and beyond at every pass. My family is so pleased with absolutely everything, and many attendees also commented how lovely everything was. The team at Arch L Heady and Son on Westport Road was phenomenal and made things easy throughout the process, showing great empathy and professionalism. They are, simply, very good at what they do. I would highly recommend using their services and even more highly recommended prearranging everything with them; they made it so easy for us from the moment we met them through the end of my father's service. My experience with Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home was exceptional. While coping with the loss of my father, Brad (Funeral Director) went far and above my expectations. Not only was he understanding and compassionate he was completely thorough beyond expectation attending to every detail, most of which I had not even considered. I very much appreciate the manner in which the funeral home is setup having only one family in at a time. This made for a more intimate setting allowing everyone to be more comfortable during this time of grief.
