Our dog, Axl, was attacked by another dog on Christmas morning. After about 3 hours with the vet, Axl succumbed to his injuries. We called Sweet Memories & he met with us on Christmas Day!! I'm sorry, I don't remember the man's name. I was a mess, so my husband talked to him mostly. But, he was very kind, caring, & professional. He met with my husband to give Axl back to us on New Year's eve. So, it does not take that long to get your pet back. I absolutely love the ink print of his nose & paw. You can almost see Axl's face in the nose print. I'm guessing because he was a pug..lol. I love it! Thank you Sweet Memories for being there for us, especially on Christmas.
Thankful for the care and compassion I received during the difficult time of losing my sweet girl, Nala. The cherry box and name plate is so beautiful. I love the ink prints of her nose and paw. Couldn’t ask for a more professional and caring place to have to take my sweet Nala to. Definitely recommend Justin @ Sweet Memories Pet Cremations. Thank you for taking care of my family!! My sweet Mouse passed very unexpectedly on a Sunday night. I contacted Sweet Memories Pet Cremations and got an immediate response. They were able to work with me and I got to bring Mouse to them the very next evening. Meeting Justin was such a wonderful experience. He was incredibly compassionate, caring and understanding to my heartbreak. I left his business feeling confident that my pet would be taken care of with the upmost respect. I was able to pick Mouse up today, just a week after dropping her off, and the memorial I received was so much more than I could’ve asked for. Absolutely beautiful! While my heart is still broken, Sweet Memories Pet Cremations has made it possible for me to still be close to my pet and to start healing. I can’t thank them enough for the exceptional service and I would recommend them to anyone.
I lost my German Shepherd Dog named Summitt. He was 8.5 years old. He died from a heart tumor eruption. This was sudden and quick. Sweet Memories Pet Cremations collected his remains from the doggy morgue at UK Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. They do a solo cremation at no extra charge and they take great care in making the selection of the memorial items turn out perfectly. Very nice family business that are kind and very professional. I am very pleased with their service and if you are in a sad place having to make a hard decision or put in sudden trauma, this is the right dose of calm to the raw emotions surrounding the death of a family member, especially the four legged kind. Totally recommend.
From the start to finish, Justin made this part of the grief process smooth. He allowed me to bring my own urn (in this case, box) for the remains of my beloved old boy Scooby. He kept me updated on when he picked up my boy from the vet, and when he would be ready to come home. He let me choose a date and time at my convenience to come pick Scooby up and that alone was so helpful, as my schedule is pretty busy during the week. Upon pickup, he was waiting patiently for me to arrive and gently showed me all of the extra things he did for us. He clipped some of our old boys hair and put it in a little envelope for us, along with ink printing his paw and nose. He also made sure to show me that he placed the two notes my children drew for Scooby into the box with his remains before sealing it up. I found these extra gestures and details to be so incredibly touching and compassionate. Justin really shows you that he cares and that he is grateful for the honor of taking care of your pet for you. If you are considering having your pet cremated, I promise you won’t be disappointed with Justin and his work! We were blessed to be referred to him. Thank you again, Justin!
