Care Cremation & Funeral Service

My father died 2 weeks ago. We chose Care Cremation, since we had used them for my sister, and they did a great job. Hospice was in the house when my father took his final breath. The nurse asked me which funeral home we chose and I told her. My phone rang almost instantly, and it was Care. I was speechless at first because it happened so fast and it was 1 AM Sunday morning. I was told they could be on-site in 1 hour. Surprisingly, they were, and they were so kind. They asked if my father was a veteran, and we replied that he was. When they picked up my father's body a little bit later, they draped a flag colored cover him and played taps as they left. We were so touched, we just stood there, once again speechless. The next day, I found out the church could have the funeral mass in 2 days (Wednesday), but a lot of other things had to fall in place, such that family members who were from out of town could just stay over. Not only was Care able to make the cremation happen on our tight schedule, when we told them we had no idea where my father's military discharge papers were, they took it upon themselves to call to locate them and get them faxed. Then they called the Air Force Honor Guard and scheduled a flag folding ceremony during the funeral mass. They also called the local American Legion and they provided a 21 gun salute also during the funeral. I can't put into words how special it was to give my Dad such a special send-off. I wanted to put this review out there and tell other people what kind of dedication to customer satisfaction this company strives for. I hope others that choose them will feel the same way as we do.

We just entrusted my mom’s funeral arrangements to Care Cremations and Funeral Services. Ed and Jessica were so incredibly kind, helpful and fair. They followed through on every detail and made a difficult time so much easier with their care and kindness. Highly, highly recommend them.

I can begin to thank Care Cremations enough for all their personal care of my husband when he passed. Jessica made our planning so easy and informative. There wasn't any pressure when we wanted the basics. They even went above and beyond when I asked to have my husband's ashes divided so each child could do what they felt best. One plans on taking a motorcycle trip and scattering his ashes in places he traveled. Watch movie Bonniville. The other daughter plans on scattering his ashes at her and her husband's farm. Our son plans on doing the same unless he changes his mind. Care Cremations has made all this possible. I would like the two men from Care Cremations that came and got got my husband's body at our home. Very respectful and professional! It's an unfortunate time that we all have to go through and is never easy mentally, but that being said my brother and myself came from out of state as our mother was visiting a friend in Kentucky and passed so myself and my brother where in Lexington and let them know the situation as we are both in different states (Massachusetts and Virginia). They had everything ready for us the next day and it wasn't rushed on their end as they gave us full attention. It's a hard time of life, but I would say you couldn't find a better company to help you through this difficult time . Many thanks to the whole staff
