During the 2 roughest times in my life, the loss of my parents, Kevin and Elizabeth and the rest of the Des Moines Cremation staff were there to answer questions promptly, provide direction, and handle all the arrangements with dignity. They coordinated with the Veteran’s Cemetery making the whole process seamless and easy for our family. Thank you Des Moines Cremation for all that you have done.

Such wonderful service was provided throughout the whole process. It can be challenging to get your mind wrapped around for planning ahead. They did such a wonderful job explaining the different options and made it not such a hard thing to do. When it came time to actually carry out the plans, Kevin was AMAZING! He was very respectful and compassionate, consistently provided excellent communication on what was going to occur and what the next steps were. He also was very open to questions and always responded in an extremely timely manner. He made this difficult time so much easier. I would highly recommend using them for your pre-or post planning needs.

Des Moines Cremation staff were so kind and helpful in my endeavor to give my dad the best care during my time of grief. Jackie was great! My dads passing was not a shock, but just like everything in life especially a death in the family, one of the things that wasn’t done was the planning due to my family’s relationship with one another. When the hospital said that I needed make all of the decisions, there was really only one place that I knew about, and I am glad that I chose Des Moines Cremation! It’s not about the money or anything else, they really embodied that what mattered most my the care for my father’s remains and getting them back to me in the kindest way possible. 10/10 recommend! Like a lot of families, we all went our separate ways so we’re scattered across the country. Recently, my estranged husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness and since I’m recovering from a broken femur and cannot travel, all communications were via cell phone. My husband and I were still friends and cared about each others well being. We discussed what his final wishes were so his niece and I set to the task of making final arrangements. She was the first to contact Des Moines Cremation then I took over communication. I was able to easily make all the arrangements with DMC in a very short amount of time. They were very polite, professional and respectful down to the last detail. They posted the obituary, shipped the remains, made sure to get a fingerprint so I could have memorial pendants made for the children and grandchild. They even contacted me a few weeks after he passed just to check on my well being. As to the fees, they were equitable and fair for that market. I don’t know what more I could have asked for at a time like this. A special thank you to Kevin for his prompt and understanding responses.
