Iowa Cremation

My father passed away last June and my sister and mother had had enough foresight to choose Iowa Cremation for after his passing. Everything was so decision-free, which is what we needed at that time. They had previously researched and chosen which plan, everything was paid for, and the instructions were very clear. Both my mother and sister have chosen plans with IA Cremation and my husband and I decided it was what would work best of us. My main concern is to make things as easy as possible for our (adult) children; no questions or decisions to have to make at such an emotional time. Iowa Cremation has quickly answered any questions I've had before making our decision. Two of our children live out of state, plus we travel often - so, when we saw that the Basic Plan included the same service if we passed in a (contiguous) state other than IA, that really sold us. The price was the same this year as when my parents and sister purchase theirs 2-3 years ago. We feel the price is very reasonable, when you look at the cost of a funeral home. After my father's passing (hospice, in their home), IA Cremation gave us as much time as we wanted with him. They were extremely kind, thoughtful and respectful. I would recommend them highly.

The funeral director, Samuel was very gracious, kind, and provided extraordinary service. The expenses for services rendered were of exceptional value, especially considering the inflationary world we live in.
