Community Funeral Care, Carmichael Chapel

Had my moms viewing and service here at Community Funeral Care, Carmichael Chapel this week and can’t say enough Good things about them! They were awesome from the beginning to the end! They were so professional at everything they did! They had plenty of staff to facilitate our viewing and services. Alon and her assistant answered every question we had with respect and caring! My mom was laid out beautifully. I could not have asked for anything better from their caring staff! I will not ever go anywhere but Community Funeral Care if the need arises again! Thanks Community Funeral Care for such a wonderful going home service for my mom! My family will always be grateful to you for everything you did for us!

The service for my Mother Eunice Lapsley-Jones, was excellent the service that was provided to my family from Alon, Wayne Kelly was amazing from the beginning when my mother arrived to Fort Wayne Ind. to the end the repass. We could not have asked for more, they were polite, caring and respectful of our time that we needed to be with our Mother. My mother was looking beautiful as usual. The service was awesome everything was perfect no flaws with Community Funeral Home. They made us feel comfortable at the viewing and at the service they showed us a lot of compassion. Service & Professionalism is unmatched. Made the process as easy as possible. After meeting with them, I was able to rest because my mind was at ease. The staff was so understanding and accommodating. I wouldn't want anyone else taking care of my loved one or me!

First of all I would like to make a response to the complaint from Conzy. Your mother did not have a Pre-fund with the funeral home since you want to put your business out there. I tried to explain to you that she signed over her insurance policy to the funeral home. That is not a pre-fund and the reason why you buried your mother three days later is because you didn’t handle your business.

My mom Mary Sistrunk passed away in January 2023 and I yet can't come to terms with the fact that her Pre-paid funeral package Was Not honored , being told by a disrespectful clerk name Dee that prices have gone up. I was also told by Alon that the bloating of my mom's remains came from toxins was not true. Not storing her remains at the proper temperature caused it. I couldn't put mom to rest on the day of her service because Carmichael clerk didn't clear things with Covington Cemetery ,I had to return back to Fort Wayne 3 days later, get help from church members to do this. I pray no one else has to go through this. My Mother deserved much better dignity than was given. God sees everything!!! REST MOMA. You Served Your Spiritual Calling Well. "WELL DONE" !!!
