I phoned Oct 31st for inquiries to euthanize my 18+ year old angel who was failing. I was put in touch with Nancy and made an appointment. Jocelyn preplanned the cremation, of which there were several options. They were both kind and understanding the day Kitty was put to rest and gave us all the time we needed. I was able to hold her in my lap with her blanket as she passed-which was very brief. The facility was clean and not at all like a clinic/vet setting. Kitty hated the vet and I did not want her last moments to be frightening or anxious. I opted for the cremation to be private ( " veiled cremation" where Kitty was not cremated with other pets). There are other options. I chose to pick up her ashes which were ready in 3 days. I did pay cash up front, which may be why the process was so fast. I would recommend picking up the ashes in person rather than wait for a driver to deliver. I did not realize euthanasia can be done at home ( I did not think to ask- double the price, . which I would have been fine with). Cost: euthanasia 160.00. Veiled cremation with basic contaner 198.00. I believe the pricing was very fair and would recommend their services to family or friends. They made this heartwrenching decision easier with grace and compassion. I never felt as if they tried to upsell products or services. Nancy suggested I preplan the cremation with Jocelyn because the day of the euthanasia is very emotional and intense. We are glad we heeded her advice. Thank you for your wonderful service.
I have taken all my dogs here since I could remember and I wouldn't have it any other way, they are absolutely beautiful and wonderful, empathetic individuals and the grounds are so serene and peaceful fro my babies and their cremations. They give you a cute container for ashes and I asked them to put some of my one of my dogs ashes in a beautiful heart shaped necklace that I bought with name on it. That's how much I loved my babies. They brought me love and joy and will always be a dear part of my life.
Glad I went here at a difficult time. Many of the staff are exceedingly kind and compassionate, treating every step with respect and care for loved pets. The unique aspect is the ability to be present during cremation, which was important for our family. - Thank you -
The staff are Amazing. Thank you Nancy, who made this experience so humble. I was able to hold Mello while she gave him relaxing medication and allowed me to hold him in my arms while he gave his last breath. Mello is at peace.
Amazing and compassionate people! We had to put our beloved dog to sleep and they were reasonably priced and there was a quick turnaround on picking up his ashes. The woman who put him to sleep was gentle, kind and very patient and waited until we were 100% ready and had said our goodbyes. Our dog passed peacefully in my arms surrounded by my wife and sister instead of in an unfamiliar place surrounded by strangers. They also allowed us to stay with him as long as we needed so we could have closure and say our final goodbyes. Thank you so much St. Francis!
