Families First did an amazing job with helping me and my family make the final decisions on my aunt's farewell. Ms. Teonna was professional, patient and empathetic as she walked us through the final decisions. When the day came for the service Ms. Angie had everything already set-up. She had reviewed our program ahead of time, had the music set-up and was on point when we needed her. Families First had a chapel that accommodated family and friends, along with setting the atmosphere for the service. We cannot say enough about this business. We are grateful for their expertise and guidance through the process. If you are undecided or not sure where to go for funeral or cremation services, please call Families First. This was my family's first experience with them, but it will not be our last.

To the entire team at Families First, Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible support following the passing of our beloved brother Roger. While we initially chose your center for its affordability, we were absolutely blown away by the level of service we received. You truly gave us the best care possible when we needed it most. Thank you for making a difficult time so much easier to bear. May God Bless you!!!! Always, Tona

On behalf of my family we want to send our gratitude regarding my daddy, Mark Bishop. My daddy, my absolute best friend, unexpectedly passed away on 10/30/2025. We called Families First as they also took care of my grandfather as well. They were incredible, from the 2 men who came to the house to pick up my father to the planning of my fathers cremation, to setting up an impromptu viewing of my daddy before he was cremated so we could give one last goodbye. It was the smoothest process & we had the most kind people we've met. I understand this is their job & they do this all the time. However, you can tell they truly do care about the families they take care of. We are forever grateful & will always recommend Families First to anyone who has to unfortunately lose someone. We thank everyone at Families First for taking such great care of my daddy & our family during the absolute worst moment of our lives. The Herring/Bishop family.

My experience with Families First Funeral Care Center was excellent. My family lives in Texas and wasn’t able to travel for many of the decisions needed for our love one finally resting place, Families First fill in and help guide me through the process. The stayed in contact with me until we traveled to Savannah Ga., really appreciated this care like family. They are professional caring cost friendly and efficient. I would recommend Families First to families looking for a final resting place for their love ones. Again thank you all for making this process a good memory 😇

This is actually the wife of this email and I recently lost my dad early October 2025 (I can't figure out how to switch emails). They were prompt and handled my dad with care and respect. Which is the least I could ask after everything the Savannah, Georgia hospital did to him. Calling to ask "permission" to code him and even after I said no keep trying they said "well we're going to do it anyway and you can pick your dad up in the morgue". 😭 Most traumatizing experience of my life. This place helped tremendously because the last place I wanted my dad was that hospital a second longer than he needed to be. They didn't treat him with respect, dignity or care. This place even called to check on me recently to see how I was processing things. Which that hospital experience will bother me now forever. What could I have done differently. Thankfully my dad taught me to get up and don't give up. Now I know he's somewhere safe and doesn't have to fight anymore and this place had a hand in helping make that happen.
