Pet Angel Memorial – Lack of Compassion and Attention to Detail My experience with Pet Angel Memorial has been deeply upsetting during one of the most painful times of my life. On May 29, my beloved dog Shilo was euthanized at Douglasville Veterinary Hospital. Pet Angel Memorial handled her cremation. When I picked up her remains on June 9, I was heartbroken to find that her name was spelled incorrectly on everything—her paw print, urn, and cremation certificate. I was told the paw print could not be corrected, but the urn and certificate would be fixed. On Monday, June 16, I picked up the “corrected” urn and certificate—only to find the certificate was still incorrect. It is now June 19, and I have finally received the corrected certificate. But the repeated errors and lack of care have made this loss even harder to bear. This kind of carelessness and lack of compassion is unacceptable, especially when families are grieving. Below are photos showing the incorrect spelling on the original items. Update update update !! Thank you for reaching out. However, I’m no longer interested in having Shilo’s paw print corrected. After the repeated mistakes with her name and the overall lack of care shown throughout this process, I’ve lost trust in your ability to handle anything involving her memory. These errors have only added to the pain of losing her, and I can’t risk any further disappointment. At this point, I would prefer to honor Shilo privately, without any additional involvement.
I have had 2 dogs pass away and I have had them both cremated with Pet Angel. They take such wonderful care of your babies even in the afterlife and it truly means so much. Thank you all for what you do, I can’t imagine it’s easy but I personally am very grateful. Rest in peace to my sweet Sophie & Bunker- finally reunited.
My Shadoe boy passed away February 8, 2024. We got him back home on the 13th. They got him home quickly and I was told they took good care of him. He's home now. I'm missing him dearly. He was my best fur friend.
Everyone that I have encountered here has been wonderfully kind and helpful. Jeff has been beyond amazing. He is easy to get in touch with and has been willing to help me throughout the whole process. I asked to sit and wait for my girl, Olive, while she was being cremated. Jeff was so accommodating in arranging a time for me to come. He even came and picked me up when my Lyft ride went awry. I am so very thankful for the care that both Olive and I have been given by Jeff and his team during this time of grief.
So thankful for the services offered here. Pets in Peace took incredible care of my little guy. They offer excellent, compassionate service and they seemlessly take care of you during a true time of need. Thank you Fred & Denise for all you!
