Our dog, Geronimo, passed away during our RV trip from Ohio. The vet that we found worked with Jacksonville Pet Funeral and Cremation Center so we had our dog's body cremated there. It was a terrible time for us, especially for my husband. Since we were going from one campground to the next my husband had to contact Jimmy, the operator of the crematory, and coordinate with him the timing of the cremation with our travel schedule so that we could receive the ashes at the campground that we would be at that coming week. My husband spoke with Jimmy on the phone multiple times. Jimmy was compassionate and patiently carried out our special delivery without being put out in the least. He cared, and we appreciate that. Geronimo's ashes were delivered inside a wooden urn that was carefully packed inside two separate cardboard boxes. Some of our beloved boy's fur was included in a small bag along with his actual paw print on a card. Jimmy patiently took the time to talk about our options and logistics and we are so grateful that there are people like him that take pride and care about their work.

It gives me comfort knowing that my sweet Ellie will be cremated on-site and not sent to an off-location facility where they do mass pet cremations. I used to be in the vet industry and have seen these types of facilities. You'd be lucky to get your pet's cremains back. Jimmy was compassionate over the phone and flexible with scheduling.

We scheduled a meeting with the person in charge, who guided us through the entire process. Words fail to express my gratitude for the meticulous care they provided for my baby boy's funeral. Unlike other facilities, they offer both burial and personalized cremation services. The cemetery allows for regular visits, and there's a special section dedicated to police and army dogs.
