When my mother passed away, I was overwhelmed with grief, but meeting Steven, the owner of Affordable Cremations, was truly a blessing. His compassion, honesty, and dedication made one of the hardest moments in my life more manageable. At 1 a.m., Friday night/Saturday morning, his team arrived promptly to take my mom into their care. What stood out most was Steven’s incredible guidance and support. While my mom was still in hospice, I shared with him that her final wish was to have her ashes brought back to Poland to be buried with her parents. Out of everyone I spoke to, Steven was the only person who told me the truth. Transporting ashes internationally, especially to Poland, would require a step-by-step process and specific paperwork. He promised he would help me when the time came, and he went far beyond what I ever expected. Steven personally tracked down an emergency contact number for the Polish Consulate in Houston, TX, and provided me with every single step I needed to take; where to FedEx documents, who to contact in Poland for approvals, and how to navigate the legalities of bringing my mom’s remains overseas. What speaks volumes about Steven’s character is that he never once asked for or accepted anything extra for all the time and effort he put in to help me. He did it out of the goodness of his heart. Thanks to his diligence, I was able to fulfill my mother’s final wish and bring her back to her homeland to be buried with her parents. I also want to recognize Melissa, who works in the office. She was absolutely wonderful, beyond professional, warm, and seamless with the process of scheduling the cremation and ordering death certificates. Her kindness and efficiency helped make everything feel calm and under control during a very emotional time. Steven is a man of his word, and he truly treats the families he works with like his own. His pricing is fair; but his sincerity, compassion, and follow-through are priceless. If you’re ever in the position of needing cremation services for a loved one, I can’t say this strongly enough. WOW! Stephen and Affordable Cremations Solutions has really amazed me! I am so happy with how such a sad situation has been turned into a comforting, professional and exciting experience mostly because of Stephen (his staff is very nice too). During a difficult time like this, dealing with a reputable company is something that definitely puts your mind at ease. The owners were gracious ,kind, Considerate, empathetic, and above all else extremely caring. They were definitely reasonably priced and did The service in a timely manner. They were even polite enough to call back the next day because we had forgotten a silk bag that the urn was placed in and was will It to us.
