I no longer donate need to this organization. They are rude, believe they are the beginning and end of knowing everything about animals which they don't. I did volunteer years ago. One of the women there who was new, was quite rude, and would not let me speak, or volunteer my expertise. Specifically, she was supposed to build a database but she didn't know anything about computers. I offer to do it she just would not shut up. I believe she is a big part of why this organization is no longer worth my donations. I did adopt my dog who my loved very much. I made a donation in her name never received a thank you, sorry about your loss no response at all.

They might be good with cats but they are terrible with communication. I wanted to adopt an indoor only cat, specifically one that I already knew from when she was a street cat. I became very fond of her and wanted to give her a good home. I have an indoor outdoor cat at home because he gets terribly agitated when not allowed out and will spray on random things in my house out of frustration. So I explained my situation in an email with the response that to start the adoption process I must apply online. I did and they were quick to respond until they called my vet and the vet told them that my current cat goes outdoors. They said they have a strict policy of indoor only. Well duh, I told them outright and they still said to apply. I sent several emails swearing on my life the new cat would be indoor only, asking why they told me to apply if it was already known that I would be rejected, asking for a written copy of their policy and asking them to clarify their statement - do they want all cats in your house to be indoors or is it just the one adopted? No answer, no explanation, no phone call, no return email. It was like the Godfather, "You are not worthy, you are dead to me." Lol.

I was able to adopt my cat from here. My kitty was so loving and adorable. Abby was her name . She passed away this past year of old age and kidney failure. We had many wonderful years with Abby.

This organization has a strict policy that if you buy a cat from them you are not allowed to let the cat go outside that is the reason why they told me they will not give me a cat I don't know what's up with that to me it seems like cruelty to animals to confine them in a house and never let them see the outside
