Mc Clam Funeral Home

I didn't get a chance to thank the staff of McClam Funeral Home for taking care of my uncle. Unfortunately we were unable to provide a suit for him but I found 2 shirts and brought them in as requested. I was told to bring the shirts and they would take care of the rest. When we were allowed to see him he looked so nice in a dark blue suit and white shirt that I knew I didn't provide. They didn't have to do that and his family appreciated it very much. So thank you so much for all your efforts on his behalf.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! WORST FUNERAL COMPANY IN NEW HAVEN CT , 9/15/2023 was a tragic enough day for our family & they did the ultimate worst . They did not make sure our plot was dug. They never contact the cemetery 😫 we waited 3hours along with our funeral guests for them to come and dig our plot that was paid for YEARS AGO & then had to wait for them to call rocckyhill ct to get our vault delivered. They didnt drop the ball with collecting our money tho . Not to mention They had his body for 3 days prior to us going in to pick caskets an make arrangement they then showed us caket we picked 1 we loved . 3 days after when we went to pay they then told us the casket can't fir him so we had to purchase a casket we hated . All because we didn't like there out dated hearse and there limo so we declined those services from them an seeked accommodation else where and that's when they suddenly noticed his caket wasn't for his size . Repass an everything had to be extended an all they offered was to reimburse our additional expenses 🤣 So now the game is on. While we should be starting our healing we are dealing with this emotional Rollercoaster

If I could have given 10 Stars I would have, a friend of mine's father passed away and this funeral home was second to none. There was a band and people singing, I experienced so many different emotions from crying laughing singing and tapping my foot I left exhilarated, I've never left a funeral feeling this way. What an absolute blessing, funerals don't need to be sad and gloomy. I recommend this funeral home highly.

McClam funeral home exceeded my family’s and my expectations. They were beyond thoughtful, professional, caring. We can’t give enough thanks to Ms. Betty for always being available, guiding us through these tough times, explaining in details every aspect of the process. Tiera for being on top of my requests and being very respectful, she was very quick and efficient when I needed anything changed last minute with our online information and our online streaming. Mr. Blue thank you for your words of encouragement during my son’s burial. That was such a powerful conversation. Thank you for guiding our family during the drive. McClam funeral home is the best around the area. If you are looking for a professional, compassionate family oriented business. This is the place for you. I unexpectedly lost my 19 year old son this month 2/2/21 and I’m glad I chose McClam funeral home.

My dad funeral on 3-9-23 was pretty nice ... my only concern was the musicians didn't show until the service was pretty much wrapping up, this was unacceptable, but our service otherwise was ok, please be sure to have the musicians ready to perform and do job that the customers pay for.
