I attended a wake here recently. The deceased family was telling me how much of a horror show it was to facilitate this funeral the way they wanted. During the most difficult time in my friend's life, she had to deal with untoward behavior from the funeral directors and the staff. She said she didn't want to leave a bad review, but I will.

My dad was buried yesterday with military honors at All Saints Cemetery. Bill and Angie Iovanne went out of their way to make this process as painless as possible for my family. They are kind, compassionate and were always available to answer our questions. My father’s mass at St. Michael’s Church was simply beautiful and Father Robert Roy spoke of my dad with such kindness he endeared himself to the entire congregation. Bill and Cliff had everything in order and gave us the opportunity to greet our family and friends as they entered the church. I want to thank Bill, Angie and Cliff for making my father’s final day such a welcoming and positive experience for my children and grandchildren. They made an impression our family will not forget and I highly recommend them to anyone who must make this journey since they will find caring, compassionate and wonderful directors at Iovanne Funeral Home.

I can't say enough good things about Iovanne Funeral Home and its staff. Billy, Cliff, and everyone there are truly gifted with kindness and compassion toward families of the deceased. We have been using their services for many decades, and we couldn't be more pleased. Most recently, my Mom passed. Billy and I cried on the phone together. He insisted on going to get her late in the evening because he didn't want her to be alone. That meant the world to me. Mom didn't look like herself after having suffered a long illness. I couldn't believe the care Billy took in making her look at least 15 years younger. Perfectly done make-up, he curled her hair, and even polished her nails! He knew that's how Mom would have wanted to look. He even said some very kind words about Mom at the end of the service. Billy restored our mother and made her look FABULOUS after years of neglect and sub-par care at the nursing home. Her skin, make-up, and hair were exactly what she would have wanted. Even her fingernails were cleaned and polished with a clear coat. He made sure her dress was dry-cleaned before it went on her. Thank you, Billy for giving us back our mother~ Vida Masto.
