Luddy Cremation Care

I used service of Luddy cremation services for my mother who passed away due to illness at a hospital. I must say they are through professional, explained whole process detailing what all approvals are required and how much time it is going to take at ever y stage. We had some specific requirement as we are Indian Hindu and they were aware about our religious rituals and accomdative in meeting our requirements of having a gathering and rituals at crematory. I would highly recommend them as what you need in this kind of time of loosing loved one is mental peace and that is what we received at Luddy.

If I could leave a zero as a star I most certainly would my mothers body was left 5 days at the hospital , when going about all of this the day she pass I was told I needed a signature from someone whom wasn’t in her life for quite some time ! I was appointed healthcare rep , conservator and power of attorney and still they wanted that signature or they wouldn’t pick her up. When communicating back and forth with them the messages were very limited , very unsympathetic, no kind words , not a very nice way to treat a family that just lost someone , not only was I given the wrong urn they gave her back to me in a plastic box and then yet again never even said sorry for your loss. Very unprofessional to say the least !

I had a wonderful experience with Luddy and Peterson's Crematory. They took care of everything, picking my mother-in-law up from the hospital in New London, and providing very good service to me. My mom passed on 11/11/21 & Luddy Cremation Center answered my call immediately. They took care of her cremation and handed her to me the day before Thanksgiving. I was numb but theirs so much that anyone can do when your parent dies. Sometimes, workers become numb also because this is what they do for a living and sometimes we don’t receive the sympathy we would like..it’s not their fault, it’s just their job and our loss. I would recommend them because they were quick & professional. Also, I didn’t realize they were Swedish like we are which made me feel good.

My experience here was exceptional. My loved one was transported to Luddys in a very timely matter. Briana called me to come in and fill out paperwork. She was very professional and caring . She explained everything in detail. I felt at ease and comfortable when leaving the Funeral home. Within the time I was told I received a call from Lindsey, another caring young woman. She met with me to sign some paperwork and give me my loved one's ashes. Again she was caring and professional. The entire process at Luddys was pleasant. I thank everyone involved. The passing of my loved one was one of the hardest times of my life. Again. Thank you for making this time easy and comfortable. I highly recommend this service to anyone.
