We really appreciate Mike and Lily at Murphy Funeral Directors for all their help at this very difficult time! They were recommended to me by family members who had good experiences with their services in the past. Murphy’s employees were able to transport my father’s body shortly after I contacted them in a completely unexpected situation, and then they gave us very helpful advice and help over a 2-month period. They never pressured us to choose expensive products or services, but actually suggested ways we could save money if we wished to. I got many compliments on the great job they did producing a large portrait of my dad and a keepsake program for our friends and family. They solved last-minute problems we encountered the night before the funeral. Their services are highly recommended!!

Amazing and caring service. My dad passed away on a holiday with special requests and after calling nearly every funeral home on Google search I couldn't find anyone to help us. Then I found Michael and he immediately went to action to help us get exactly what my dad requested and fought for his rights. It didn't matter that it was a holiday he took care of everything so fast and stress free he was a blessing for us in a really tough time for my family.

After going through a tough 6 years and losing two sisters, my father, and my mother in-law, I can honestly say that M.P. Murphy and Associates was a god-send. Each and every service was handled professionally and with respect and dignity. We never had to worry about the details and each service was carried out as requested and the staff went above and beyond. As difficult as it was to have four services over the recent years, I always had confidence in the quality and cost of the services each time as well. Coordination with the churches, musicians, clergy, and even posting the obituary in a small town paper out of state was handled quickly and independent of us needing to manage any of the details. We have trusted M.P, Murphy with our loved ones both currently and in past years, including 10 years ago when my father-in-law passed and even nearly 40 years ago before Mike Murphy had his own business when my mother passed away when I was 14. I would recommend (and have) to other family members and he has assisted my friends with questions even when he wasn't the one providing the services. Thank you Mike and all of your staff for being there when we needed you most so we could focus on each other and loss during those difficult days.

I should start by saying that I very seldom enter comments or ratings unless someone goes far beyond my expectations. That is the case with Murphy Funeral Directors. I have had very little experience with the loss of a loved one, only having ever lost my father several years ago. Living far away from my dad, I had very little to do with the planning of the service and other details. When my brother passed suddenly, living in the same town, I was responsible for all the arrangements. Mike Murphy, owner of Murphy Funeral Directors, helped in so many ways. His focus was always on our family and our needs. My brother’s service was not the only service he was helping with at the time yet he always had time to answer any questions and arrange everything perfectly. Michael Murphy and his caring staff made it possible for me to focus on my friends and family rather than all the little details. Thank you for all your help and support.

Mike Murphy and his staff did an incredible and professional job of dealing with an extremely difficult request to move the bodies of two sisters to a cemetery in Kansas. We were amazed at how Mike overcame every obstacle with enthusiasm and tenacity. We recommend them without reservation.
