Amazing staff & clean facility. I didn’t feel rushed even though I was one of the last appointments for the day. Every staff member and volunteer I interacted with was super friendly and kind. They even gave me a free cat carrier and cat tree that was donated earlier that day! I adopted Luna, an 11 year young cat that was waiting for a home for 2 months. She’s been a perfect addition to the home, super sweet, and she allowed me to clip her nails within first 48 hours. So grateful for this experience and choosing to adopt at Humane Colorado!

This place is incredible. Friendly, professional staff of people who exude love of animals. Great facilities. An adoption process that is thorough enough to make sure pets end up in a good home, but not excessively strict. I've adopted two dogs from them and both times it was a wonderful experience. The second time I even brought my other dog in and was able to have a supervised introduction that was perfect for making sure they liked each other. If you're interested in adopting a pet, this is the place to go.

Adopted my soul dog here, and I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am for this organization. The staff were kind and supportive, helping me to make the best decision I have made in my life. So thankful I walked in the shelter 3 years ago today, my dog Tenaya (lawn chair) has saved my life with endless joy. Thank you for doing what you do!

We recently rescued a puppy from Humane Colorado. It was technically our 2nd experience bc we rescued a puggle from Dumb Friends League 10 years ago (also a great experience.) We got our dog home and took him in for his first vet visit to our family vet and learned he was a bit ill. We reached out to Humane Colorado that evening and they were so amazing. Mackenzie was so reassuring and we were able to get the puppy in for care that evening free of charge. The vet staff were so attentive and we were able to bring our pup home in good health! It's really nice to know that with all the unknowns of a rescue pet that they back up their mission of keeping dogs homed, safe, and healthy!

We had an absolute amazing experience looking for our new fur baby. The facility is very clean and the staff is extremely professional. Everyone there was involved in helping us find the correct dog to fit us and our family. We would recommend anyone and everyone that is missing something in their life to stop in and see the helpful staff. They let us spend as much time as we needed to get to know any of the dogs we thought might be right for us... And to our surprise we adopted a dog that we had not planned on visiting when we first arrived to the facility. We would recommend Humane Colorado to anyone looking to adopt a new family member ❤️ Thank you all so much 🙏🙏🙏
