Greenwood & Myers Mortuary

We have used Greenwood and Myers now for my dad 10 years ago and now my mom in Dec 2025. Unfortunately, both have been unacceptable and inexcusable experiences. The one thing I told them before they took my dad away was to make absolutely sure that they remove his wedding band before cremation. Guess what....they forgot to remove his ring. Fast forward 10 years later for my mom, they were supposed to be (we paid extra for this) at our memorial service greeting folks, bringing the guest book and handing out the very nice brochures that we had designed and paid a lot of money for. Guess what...they were 15 minutes late and so no one was greeted, no guest book and no brochures. Unbelievable and so incredibly disappointing. Overall, the whole experience was unprofessional and every step was painful and slow and of course every little thing cost extra. The church even said that they will most likely NOT EVER recommend using Greenwood and Myers. This is the one thing in a persons life that should be handled gently and professionally, especially after paying the exorbitant fees that they charge. So disappointed.

Losing my baby was the most devastating experience of my life, and Greenwood & Myers met me in the middle of that nightmare with compassion I will never forget. Every person I interacted with was kind, patient, and respectful. They walked me through each step with tenderness when I could hardly think straight. What meant the world to me was their willingness to cremate my baby free of charge. It was an act of generosity and humanity that I will always remember. In the darkest moment of my life, they provided a sense of dignity, care, and peace. I am so deeply grateful for the way Greenwood & Myers treated me and my baby with genuine compassion. I cannot thank them enough.

We had an excellent experience with Greenwood & Myers. As with any unexpected passing, there is confusion and immediate decisions to be made. The staff at G&M were helpful and accommodating throughout. We appreciated their patience with us. It is a family run business, and you can feel the care and attention they give their clients.

We would like to thank you for the support shown to us during the passing of our beloved parents. The Greenwood family~ Mike, John, and Mary, and the crews were incredibly helpful and humble, and their kindness brought us great comfort. This experience has been profoundly meaningful, and everything unfolded in the most beautiful and perfect way. We truly could not have asked for more.
