Foothills Animal Shelter

Love love love this shelter!! We’ve adopted two dogs from them, one 8 years ago and one 10 months ago, and they’ve been the greatest gifts in our lives. Adopting an animal is no small feat because they come with previous traumas and it takes a lot of work and patience but the staff at Foothills make sure that you and your future animal/animals are set up for success. I especially appreciated the staff for taking the time to help us introduce our new puppy to our older dog and for giving us lots of tips and tricks to make sure it was a non issue when we got home. I can’t thank the staff enough for all of their hard work and dedication to helping these animals live out their best lives in their forever homes 💙💙 Much love and appreciation from Anna and Beef who are now THRIVING in their forever home with mom and dad!!

This shelter is wonderful. Clean facility, caring staff, and the sweetest animals. We’ve adopted 2 cats from them over the last 5 years. Our kitties are such a special part of our family, and we are forever grateful to Foothills Animal Shelter for loving them until we could bring them home. Keep doing the amazing work you all do every day to care for and find loving homes for all the animals who come through your shelter. The work you do is so incredibly important to their lives and to the lives of the people who adopt them. Thank you for showing up and making a difference.

Are we adopted Darcy a German Shepherd 2 days ago she is fantastic already house trained. She's super smart and sweet and extremely obedient. I've never adopted a dog before and didn't realize how great of an experience this would be. The staff at Foothills animal shelter are really knowledgeable and give you great benefits when adopting a dog. I definitely recommend this shelter.

An incredible shelter for lost pets/run aways, adoption, license, microchips, vaccinations, relinquish your pets, and end of life care. Compassionate, dedicated, and amazing staff. They understand pets, and all their life's journey's. Extremely caring staff when it comes to finding your best friend, end of life care, and reuniting with your fur babies. The women of foothills Animal Shelter both staff and volunteers are amazing and deserve your support! Donate, volunteer, adopt, foster, or take care of your beloved pets throughout their lives.

I adopted a chow last year named burrata now it’s yokai but he has been nothing but the best dog to ever have. Foothills is one of the best shelter out there. From past experience, my sister got her dog in this facility 10 years ago and he too was an amazing dog, before passing away due to old age.
