Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE)

We actually had two of our dogs go to CASE recently. Our younger girl got transferred to CASE at 2AM for an emergency specialty surgery and they had a surgeon in within 3 hours. It saved her life. Prices are expensive, which is to be expected, but the people there a wonderful. We had a very scary few days but the teams communicated greatly and always kept us in the loop. Our girl is better than ever. We also talked with them about an oncology consult for our other pet and loved the team. They talked with us with care and explained everything and didn’t pressure us to make any decisions. They actually recommended a less invasive approach to cancer treatment for quality of life. I never felt they were pressuring to do the most expensive option but were consultative and helped make it a team decision on our long term care for our senior girl.

We ended up at CASE on a Sunday night after my dog was having cluster seizures. They were so amazing and caring of my dog, Larry! We were in and out with some cluster buster medication in an hour or so! Definitely helped us out so much in a very scary situation with great knowledge, medicine, and warm hearts! So many thanks to the staff that was there that night! 🙌 He is on additional meds now, and his happy dog self!

Huge shoutout to the amazing team at CASE! We brought our senior husky, Max, in for what we thought was simple hind-end lameness, and their thorough evaluation and bloodwork helped uncover an abdominal mass we never would have known about. Their kindness, communication, and attention to detail made an overwhelming day so much easier. I’m so grateful that all the specialty services are under one roof—it means Max can get the care he needs quickly and seamlessly. Thank you, CASE, for taking such incredible care of our boy.

CASE provides exceptional care for your fur babies. I’ve seen them in both a specialty and emergency setting over the course of several years, back to when it was Aspen Meadow. After the merger they retained the exceptional doctors and other staff and they provide loving and compassionate care. After my girl was in the care of another emergency and specialty vet, we ended up having to go back in and I chose to bring her to CASE as she had been treated by Dr. Fleischman several years ago and it was an exceptional experience. The level of knowledge and empathy is second to none. Dr. Fleischman reviewed all the recent records and asked clarifying questions, even with our last minute visit, she was thorough. Allie has began to improve and I’m hopeful there will be no more setbacks. She has also been much easier to manage at home with her treatment plan. During the visit, they provided a detailed review of the estimate prior to starting treatment and every person I interacted with gave me the opportunity to ask any questions I may have. Since our visit I have been able to easily reach out for any additional questions and concerns and have received a prompt response as well as had the internal medicine team reaching out for an update of how Allie is doing at home. While Allie was in hospital they also had visiting hours where you can go and spend some time with your furbaby to help them decompress in a stressful environment and it’s comforting to be able to see the care they receive first hand. They are definitely busy, but still able to provide an excellent level of care for both patients and their humans. Thank you to all the amazing staff! CASE has been incredible since our cat’s cancer diagnosis. After our initial consultation on a Monday, they were able to schedule her amputation the very next day. I felt truly heard and understood, and the urgency with which they acted reassured me that our girl was in excellent hands. Communication was outstanding before, during, and after her surgery. Being able to call the night of the surgery for an update and even receive a picture of her meant the world to us. A cancer diagnosis is terrifying, but CASE has guided us every step of the way, explaining treatments, outcomes, and answering all of our questions. Our girl is doing so well! I also found their pricing reasonable for the type of surgery and care she needed, and I appreciated their transparency and respect for our decisions. A heartfelt thank you to CASE, from the front desk to the oncology team and everyone in between, for giving us so much reassurance during this incredibly stressful time!
