All in all in this experience they made me feel as comfortable as possible in this kind of situation. Other than a lil hiccup with the paperwork there services and the overall experience was genuine and pure. I was a little lost as to be expected in all this and they stood by me and walked me through the process in a timely manner! Thank you again!

We were highly impressed with Blue Mountain. From the start of the process they were professional, respectful and helpful. I was impressed with the follow up kits that reminded us of things we needed to make sure we handled after my mother’s passing. The communication tools even had examples of letters on how to address speaking to different companies. This is great to have an online option for cremation. Very affordable. I think it is the wave of the future!

What does one do when a loved one leaves no specific wishes for after their passing? We had just lost our father/husband and had to make a quick decision what to do after he passed just hours after entering a hospice facility. The hospice facility handed us a list of options. We quickly researched those options, but still were not sure what to do so we asked for their advice for basic but reputable cremation services. They mentioned Blue Mountain so we took a chance and went with them. The entire experience was as easy as one would hope during such a difficult time. Crystal reached out to start the process and explained how almost everything is handled remotely (email, phone). The only in-person requirement was picking up my father's cremains and his death certificates. Crystal sent us very detailed information in a series of emails. I had not had much sleep in the weeks prior to my father's passing, and processing his death while figuring out next steps was overwhelming. Crystal didn't mind answering questions that were in the emails that I had overlooked (she never made me feel like I was bothering her, which I appreciated). Good communication is very important to me, and I was impressed with Crystal's ongoing communication. She was patient, kind, and very responsive whenever I reached out. There was not one time when I wished things could have be easier. Crystal was on top of everything. The pricing was toward the lower end of the options we looked at. I often hear "you get what you pay for" so I was a little worried about that, but Blue Mountain delivered above expectations. They gave us a veteran discount since my father served in the army, which was a nice, unexpected surprise. They also posted the obituary and photo we provided to their website. It showed up online in searches within a day, which has made closing out some of his estate easier (companies have asked us if there is an obituary online and then searched to confirm before closing his accounts - eliminating the need to send a death certificate). Two weeks after my father's passing, we received a handwritten condolences card from Crystal and a text from Julie checking in and offering resources to help loved ones after someone passes away. For a service that is primarily handled remotely, I felt like Blue Mountain cared through the entire process. This is one type of service I hope not to have to use very often, but if the need arises again, I will not hesitate to use Blue Mountain.

Dealing with the business of a loved one's death is not a happy time but Crystal Ortiz, our funeral Director, and Blue Mountain Cremations made this as painless as possible and the whole experience was efficient, caring and responsive. Doing all of the business involved by phone, email and Adobe was so much easier than making many trips to the Funeral Home or having them come here. When we picked up the ashes they had a nice room set aside for us to use at a local funeral home and everyone there was equally helpful. I would definitely work with Blue Mountain again and recommend them to others.

Blue Mountain Cremation Services were wonderful. My husband passed away suddenly and I was at a loss as what to do. I was recommended to Blue Mountain and they took care of everything for me. They handled everything for me and got the death certificates so I didn't have to think about anything but my grief which they eased. I picked up the death certificates when I picked up my husband. There was no driving around, recording things then having to deal with the cremation arrangements. They did it all and eased my worries. They are the kindest people and I highly recommend Blue Mountain for your needs. You won't regret it.
