I’ve now adopted two cats from Humane Society. My first cat was from Pikes Peak, and now my second kitten, Jerry (formerly Jack), from Boulder. The whole process is extremely easy and expedited quickly. I definitely would recommend going there on a week day if possible as it does get a little busier on the weekends. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and helped my process to adopt Jerry go smoothly. I love what Humane Society does, and will continue to support them by adopting loving animals from them. Jerry was a little malnourished prior to coming to both Humane Society, as well as home with me, but now he is gaining healthy weight, having fun playing, and has gotten a healthy score from his vet! Attached are some photos of him and his brother. Thank you!
Thank you for always taking amazing care of my cat. I know that HSBV will provide above and beyond supreme medical expertise and that the services being offered are being completed with the best veterinary practices. If I could rate my experience with HSBV a 100/10 I would.
Chris, Kennedy, and Shauna were so incredibly helpful and accomodating even on a super busy Saturday when they were understaffed. Even though the place was packed, everyone answered our questions and gave us space to talk and meet the cats we wanted to interact with. It took about 4 hours but we were so happy to bring home Lila and Woodstock. Huge thank you to the incredible staff.
Took my baby in for her first check up and a round of vaccines. She had a scary reaction and her team of caregivers acted quickly and with compassion. *I love that my pup still actually enjoys going to the vet. They make us and our Daisy Mae feel like family. ♡
If I could give HSBV a 5 million star review, I would. They have been with me through so many recent challenges with my kitties—the hospital fixed my cat Rizo’s paw after he was attacked by my mom’s rescue dog & the staff helped me set up a reasonable payment plan so I could afford all the various surgeries and appointments it took for us to finally get him well again. A few months ago, I had to euthanize my 21 year old cat Mylie who I adopted as a kitten—it was such a dark and devastating time, I truly do not think I would have made it without the compassion and care everyone working at the hospital that day offered me—a vet tech I had never even met gave me such a huge and much needed hug, Carlie took my 2.5 year old daughter into her office and entertained her so I could have some time alone mourning my sweet girl—TRULY wonderful people. I rescued a stray barn kitten a few weeks ago, & everyone was just as amazing with the little one as they were with Rizo and Mylie. I now ONLY trust the crew at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley to see/work with my animals. If I ever need to make a vet appointment or adopt a sweet soul in the future, I’ll be coming here! Brad, Ashley, Lorraine, Carlie—just to name a few—THANK YOU for everything!
