Amare Pet Cremation

I lost my sweet pup Lexi six weeks ago, and I finally feel ready to write a review for Amare Pet Cremation. I know I will always grieve the loss of my soul pup, and when the time came I wanted people who would truly care for her body with tenderness and respect. I chose a witness cremation, and it was the best decision I could have made for my peace of mind and my aching heart. Every person I interacted with at Amare was exceptional in their compassion, their gentleness, and their genuine devotion to caring for Lexi. When they brought her into the private room she was wrapped in a blanket and looked exactly the way she did when she would fall asleep at home and I would cover her. Being able to see her again, run my fingers through her soft fur, and spend as much time with her as I needed before the cremation was a gift I will never forget. The private room was incredibly peaceful and comforting, more so than many human viewing rooms I have seen. It gave me the space to breathe, to cry, and to feel close to my girl one last time. I cannot recommend Amare Pet Cremation highly enough. Five stars is simply not enough. 10 stars across the board! Thank you to everyone at Amare for offering such kindness and grace during one of the hardest moments of my life, the moment I had to let my pup go physically. You gave me comfort when I needed it most, and I am deeply grateful.

We had initially chosen a different pet cremation facility, but pivoted after speaking with Caring Pathways (who thankfully helped us say goodbye in the comfort of our home) and making the call to Amare Pet Cremation. We chose to witness our little girl's cremation to assure that we left that same day with her ashes. They took our girl, gently, to another room for a quick paw print and to clean her up a little for our last goodbyes. They led us to a comfortable private room and gave us time and space to say our goodbyes. Everyone was so caring and gentle. We could tell that they were animal lovers too. We couldn't be happier with Amare and are so thankful that we chose them to cremate our Daisy.

I want to say thank you to Amare Cremation for a wonderful experience that I had using their services. I recently had to put my baby girl of 18 years down at home using the services of Caring Pathways (they’re excellent too!) and the cremation was done by Amare. Amares staff was excellent throughout the whole process. Amare offers a Witness Cremation where you are in a private room to have one last moment with your loving pet before they’re cremated. I would highly recommend this service as they clean and make your loving pet look nice and presentable before they’re cremated. This also allows you to grieve in private one last time before you say your last good bye. If you want peace of mind in knowing that your pets ashes are their actual ashes do the witness cremation. You will get to see your pet go into the chamber and their ashes come out. You will also get to bring their ashes home after the viewing.

This review is for our sweet girl Akanke who passed back in July of this year. We were connected with Amare Cremation through Caring Pathways. We chose the Witness Cremation service and it was truly remarkable. From what we understand it was a new service at the time and yet all of the details were just right. That speaks volumes to the care team who created such a wonderful space for families and their furry loved ones. The room was beautifully setup. They gave us ample time for a personal lei ceremony and to just talk to us about our girl and what she meant to us. You can see that the whole team cares deeply about making these tough moments beautiful for families. The Witness Cremation service offered us a sense of peace and closure that we otherwise would not have had and for that we are so grateful.

If you want a crematory that’s not a corporate chain, this is where you need to go! I have seen first hand behind the scenes at Amare , they truly value your pets and take care of them with dignity and the respect they deserve!
