I just want to say they are good people and they take care of things right with my pets and make you feel at home in your sad moments with Comfort

I grew up not too far from Pet Haven. We’ve been using their cremation services for over 50 years. As kids we’d ride our bikes over and read the plaques and graveside markers. Lots of famous people have buried their beloved fur babies here. The prices have always been reasonable and affordable, but like everything else lately they have gone up. Mike, the owner, and everyone else who works at Pet Haven is very kind and gracious to the grieving clients who come with broken hearts to bury or cremate their loved ones. I can’t ever see our family going anywhere else!

The people are very friendly and helpful. Ashes are put in a plastic box with a name and date. You can also purchase a paw print in plaster. I wish they were open later, so I had more time to get there.

To preface our experience at Pet Haven, I want to share that I am a Funeral Service Practitioner of over 10 years (for people). As a duly licensed Mortician (and graduate) in the state of CA, but a first-time client for my beloved cat, Bear, at a pet cemetery and mortuary/crematory, there were interesting parallels and differences to the experience that I am quite accustomed to on the human side of deathcare. That being said, witnessing my Boy's final disposition and the quick turn-around time to be able to do so was a welcome relief. Not all places allow this privilege and Pet Haven did so for my Fiance and I, the opportunity to see our Boy just before the cremation and to observe his placing within the retort, which was a valuable and important condition for us, personally. Being in the industry of death and aftercare, allowed me the opportunity to discuss at length with our crematory operator, Jose, who took the time and patience to discuss with me the intricacies and analogues of our shared professions, and to appreciate the nature of what it means to be in this particular calling. My Fiance and I would like to express our enduring love for our Boy, Bear, alongside our gratitude and appreciation for Pet Haven and in particular, Mr. Jose for his caring, deference, and many years of cultivated experience providing thoughtful disposition and aftercare for the many fur babies, companion critters, four-legged, multi-legged, and limbless pets that come to find this place their final Haven--into the Eternal Hereafter.
