Family Pet Mortuary

They came out and put my beloved dog down this week on a tuesday. On wednesday I had gotten a text to pick up my loved ones ashes. This business is very respectful and thoughtful with how they carry their duties and with the words they speak. Highly recommended for anyone who, unfortunately, needs this service. 04/02/2025 Thank you so much Family Pet Mortuary for the cremation of our baby boy Dexter. Dexter was 18 and a half years old and lived a life full of love. He was everything to us. I want to specially thank your wonderful employee Chong who was kind and compassionate when we dropped off Dexter. Thank you Mr. Chong for your kindness. We will never forget how you treated us. My only complaint was when we picked him up today about 12:50pm, the young lady with blond orangy hair. We told her we were here to pick up Dexter and she had back door opened where we couls see all the bags with pet remains. She handed us Dexter's bag and said "here you go" like if he was some time of grocery or item you pick up at the store. I don't think it was bad intentioned but she definately needs more training how to hand precious remains to families. I was informed by my friend who came to the mortuary and personally witnessed, that the request to collect some of my dog's fur to be put into an envelope, was entered into your system. I trusted your mortuary to follow through on a small but sacred act for someone I deeply loved. Instead, you cremated him without leaving a single strand. This request was not an afterthought. It was my last chance to hold onto something from him, and you erased that moment from me completely. Not because it wasn't logged, but because you didn't care enough to follow through. I want to know how this happened. I don't want your apology, I want accountability. Because if this is how you handle documented requests, then you are hurting grieving families who may never have the strength to speak up. You took something from me that I will never get back. You owe me, at the very least, an honest explanation.

We had an in-home euthanization for my grandmothers dog with Family Pet Mortuary yesterday and they were so kind and respectful. They didn't make us feel rushed, and quietly let us say our goodbyes as long as we needed. They were very compassionate and gentle with our little Daisy girl. We were able to pick up her remains today so we got to have her back home so quickly. I recommend Family Pet Mortuary wholeheartedly.

My beautiful 16 year old border collie, Zoey passed away on Monday. Family Pet Mortuary picked her up from the hospital and cremated her a few days ago. My biggest regret was to not get her paw prints. Today my husband picked up Zoey from the hospital. Family Pet Mortuary clearly took good care of our beloved Zoey. As I went through everything I found beautifully enclosed in an envelope Zoey’s paw prints. It was my only regret and Family Pet Mortuary doesn’t even know how much this means to me. I will cherish it forever. Thank you so much! Zoey was so loved. We were so blessed to have 16 beautiful years with her. She was with me my entire adulthood so far. She will forever be missed ❤️
