I am so sorry to say that I had the worst experience at Direct Cremation. Elena is the lady that I talked to and she had no compasion, pacience or sensibility to talk to us. This is a really sad experience that people gpthrough, and she was sometimes rude. I had passed expirences with other cremations, there were extremly nice and had compasion towards us. I hope they do something about and try to have more compassion towards people that are going through this.

My ex partner passed and his family asked me to handle the services and cremation as they were out of state and not able to make a trip from the east coast to the west coast. I called and found as much information as possible. Gave the information to the family and they chose direct cremation. It seemed to fit the budget. I was told that it would take 7 to 10 days for the cremains to be returned. First thing when I called the person I initially spoke with was not there. I was told there was never anyone by that name. I gave her the deceased name and yet she still did find it. I have her my number and it came up on the computer. All things were set in place and it was finally paid for. I was told the process would not be done until all fees were paid. Sept 28 payment was received. It is now October 22 and we still have no cremains to scatter out. So much for seven to ten days. I called and was treated rudely. The person on the phone would not give me a schedule and was not very friendly or polite. Total attitude given. Not even a sorry for your loss. If you have a choice this is the worst place to choose. Customer service was poor, the communication was poor and giving information was terrible and misleading. Two months will have passed by the time this is done. I'm so angry. Next letter is the better business bureau. This place needs to be shut down. Lord knows what I will find once I get there to pick up the cremains. Why can't we give the review a 0? They're not even worth that much.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. HORRIBLE customer service. I asked ONE question about the cremation services and what's involved, and the representative went on a RANT about how I "know nothing about cremation services" (no duh) and that I need to know everything before calling in. I lost my father, and then got berated by a someone because I didn't understand the details of how to cremate a loved one. I could not be more offended or upset. If I could give zero stars, I would.

It is never easy going through this process, so I am extremely grateful to Rachel for her kindness in explaining everything to me. She has been so helpful in speeding the process along and handling our case with care.

At one of the worst times of your life, these guys will manage to make it a lot worse. Their front-person, Rachael, has the sensitivity of a public toilet seat. PLEASE, PLEASE GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.
