I've taken over the month to write this to give myself a chance to cool off because the incompetence with the handling of my pet's ashes was staggering. It would be comical if they weren't dealing with precious materials for families who are grieving the loss of their beloved companions. If your only purpose is to safely deliver remains to loved ones, you staff up with folks who are customer service gurus. What I got instead was a grown person on the phone who had never heard of a PO Box - like literally didn't know what a PO Box is. There's absolutely no excuse for the number of ridiculous mishaps and changes to an order without any communication of what was happening. I didn't really have a choice about where my pet would end up so if you have the time to choose a place, choose somewhere else. Seriously. Save yourself the additional heartache of wondering what has happened to your pet's ashes and the work it takes to track them down as a result.

They need a new person at the front desk. Called to ask which in-home euthanasia vets they work with and was told, “Dr. Smith or Mobile Vet”, when I asked for more info on either she told me to “Google it.” Found another in-home vet on my own and when I came to pick up my dog’s remains, she couldn’t locate them and told me “sometimes we misplace things”. Not what I want to hear when I am picking up my dog’s remains. I even called ahead to ensure they'd be set aside. No condolences or well wishes, unbelievable. This is the second dog we've take to Peaceful Pets and we will not return due to her insensitivity.

With kitties for 50+ years, I had not heard about this type of service before my cat passed on. Great staff, respect, comfort, and communication. The entire process was gentle for my big boy and I.

My baby girl Octavia passed at 8 months old and I was really iffy having animal control pick her up but I did it anyways and thought I'd probably just get a bag of ashes and that's it. I was called that her remains were ready for pick up at animal control and they handed me a nice blue bag and when I got in my car I looked and the first thing I grabbed was a small box and when I opened it I couldnt hold back the tears, it was my baby girls paw print. I did not expect that and it was beautiful. Next I pulled out a velvet bag with a box in it, I thought it would be a cheap box but no it was a beautiful wood box with her name on it. Thank you so much for giving me these beautiful memorable keepsakes of my baby.

We lost our little guy in a car accident...Just a few days after it all, I took him all the way down to Peaceful Pets Aquamation. I read all the good reviews online, and decided this is it. Best decision I made! They made the process easy, and they actually care... I moved out of state to Arkansas, and they shipped him to us. No problems, eveything came back perfect and we have what's left of Sniper :) The pricing is incredibly fair, and the aquamation process is less harsh (from the sounds of it) than cremation even though they're on the order of one another. They have tons of mementos to choose from, and the items are high quality!!! The picture speaks for itself. The process takes a few weeks, and it's worth it. R.I.P. The Legend of Sniper 🙏⚱🐶
