Farrington Mortuary & Cremation

We had to choose a mortuary for my father in the middle of the night with no warning. I picked at random, and I guess I'm lucky I picked Farrington, because everything was great. Lindsay (the owner) was extremely responsive and helpful and respectful, even delivering my father's ashes in person once they were ready. And the pricing was very reasonable, which was very satisfying given how easy it is for places to take advantage of people in the throes of grief. The only downside for us is that their viewing facility is in Anaheim, kind of far from us, but it was our responsibility to do advance research, so I can't blame them for that.

Lindsay Farrington at Farrington Mortuary & Crematory turned what is typically an emotionally draining process into a positive experience. My mother passed away in early August, which was devastating. However, from the moment I first contacted the mortuary, Lindsay made everything so much easier. It was true white-glove service—every question was answered thoroughly, even explaining what to expect during the cremation process. I had imagined the worst, but after speaking with Lindsay, I felt at ease. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly, from meeting me halfway to pick up the clothes I wanted my mom to wear, to being honest and compassionate about how my mom would look for the viewing and cremation. She also coordinated the pick-up, any special requests, and even documentation. I honestly can’t think of a single negative aspect of the experience. Lindsay, I’m so sorry we had to meet under these circumstances, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything.

Lindsey Farrington is a person of substance who takes care of families with compassion and empathy, and great competence. You feel in the presence of real humanity.

Farrington Mortuary went beyond any expectations I could have had. I was suddenly thrust into the decision making process without any recommendations or references. Lindsay helped me navigate the whole thing with kindness, compassion and grace. I feel so fortunate to have found Farrington. I HIGHLY recommend them. She personally delivered my mom's ashes and, again, showed so much kindness, compassion and grace.

I cannot say enough about Lindsay and Farrington Mortuary. During the most traumatic, horrific time of a person's life (losing my mother), trying to make final decisions for a loved one is beyond overwhelming. I was not thinking straight and had not idea what to do. I called a few places prior to Farrington. They were fine, but it still felt overwhelming. When I called Farrington, Lindsay immediately answered, was calming and personable and made the entire process as easy and straightforward as possible, which is exactly what I needed at the time. My mom didn't want a funeral or memorial service, and there was no judgement or attempt to upsell a thing. Lindsay was extremely compassionate and helpful. She took care of everything. She even came to my house to pick up my mother's outfit. It seems like it would be very easy to be taken advantage of during this vulnerable time, but I can say, in dealing with Lindsay and Farrington, I feel the opposite of taken advantage of. She made a very difficult necessity bearable. I would recommend Lindsay and Farrington Mortuary to everyone I know and I rarely feel confident making recommendations. I truly am grateful for Lindsay.
