Excellent experience. Ms.Carol was invaluable and very nice. I appreciated all the help in planning and writing the obituary. When I asked if we could see my mom beforehand, it was not a problem. They made her look very nice, and it helped my family with our loss. Thank you again for everything.

Making the arrangements with Carol was simple. However, we asked for my father to be dressed in his suit and to view before cremation. They did not call to let me know and cremated my dad before I could see him one last time. Quite disappointed in their lack of professionalism.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My husband of 27 years died and being from Texas and in shock, I chose the first company who could help during the tragedy. Carol had abrasive customer service skills. I asked if they would cremate my husband with his favorite football shirt. The funeral home said no problem. Carol called and yelled at my mother in law (whose son had just died) that it would cost extra for the shirt. The call was on speaker phone and Carol's voice to my ears was cold and horrible. The company got my death certificate wrong (they got my surviving spouse name wrong), then wouldn't get corrected copies for me. I am still in tears because now I have to figure out how to get a correct death certificate. I didn't think someone could be this callous.

I have never met a more heartless woman in my life!! She acted as if money was all she wanted and had the nerve to try and charge us to say our goodbyes!! Needless to say it was worth the $150 to move our family member to a MUCH nicer place and with VERY caring people who had sympathy and respect and didn't act like this was just another paycheck! Gunn funeral home is the best place for funeral/cremation services hands down!!
