We had the devastating loss of both of our beloved French Bulldogs , Archie and Ruby within a 3 week period . We are not from Arizona, and relied on reviews to select the best option for final care of their earthly bodies . I want to express my sincere gratitude to Darla and her son Adam , who we entrusted for this sorrowful task . Darla was kind , compassionate, and patient as I was struggling with grief and trying to make decisions. We chose individual flame cremation with return of their ashes and keepsake paw prints . Everything was handled with care and dignity . We will be taking our pups ashes when we leave Arizona , but for those who are local , they have a cemetery right there on site and I found it beautiful, well cared for and peaceful . Thank you to this family business for making a terrible time just a little easier . - The Evans Family
Taken me awhile to be able to write this. Never do business with this place. I've worked in customer service and sales for 13 years and never had an experience like this especially with something so special like a beloved pet. Things were smooth when taking my payment but when it came time to get my remains it was a nightmare. I was first told the remains would be available two weeks and to show up at a certain date and time. So two weeks go by I show up and a notice is on the door that the business is closed and will re open 3 days later. I never got a call or notice only arriving to see this letter posted. So wait 3 days and call as instructed on the notice to which no one answers and or calls back to voice mails. So I drive back up to the office and now a new notice is posted again that the office is closed and will re open in 2 more days. So 2 days go by and another notice the place is closed. I was so uoset I called local law enforcement to put inna notice because no one is responding to my calls and I need my animals remains. No phone calls. Only a paper notice attached to the door so I have to drive up and wonder what is going on with my pet. No communication at all. Finally I get a call from someone else who says I can get my pets remains and gives me a date and time but this was after what felt like torment. I will never do business with this company no matter how beautiful the grounds. The experience showed a huge lack of understanding for your business and complacency. In my situation my pet was my best friend my everything every moment that I was away from those ashes was hard on me to have no one call and update me on what's going on and I have to drive up and see a notice to figure out what's going on feels very disjointed and unprofessional. How hard is it to respond to a voicemail with a quick 5-minute call to give me a date and time when I can pick up my pets remains? After seeing the office staff I'm guessing it's because of their age that they don't know how to operate technology you need somebody younger in the office to manage these things. This is a business dealing with life and death and people's emotions. In my voicemails I offered to take up and call Pet owner's back if no one there at the office was able to do it I'll do it for you for free at no cost I'm sure there's other pet owners that were eagerly waiting to figure out when they could pick up their pets remains. If anybody wishes to hear more please reach out. Also after going through my experience I'm going to say stay with your pet until the day of the cremation don't allow them to hold your animal for weeks wondering where its body is.
This is a beautiful cemetery and it's peaceful and I will consider it as a burial place for my pets in the future. Today I was there to do a cremation for my bunny and the lady who helped me was amazing and I really feel like I got Great service from a very caring person. It was a wonderful experience and made losing a loved one a little bit more bearable. God bless these people!
Darla is truly a wonderful and compassionate person. When I brought my fur baby, Diogie, here in 2018, Darla was the one who gently guided me through the difficult decision to have him cremated. Her kindness made an unbearable moment just a little easier. Yesterday, when my chosen family’s 20-year-old dog passed away at home, they were overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. I immediately thought of the care and grace Darla showed me years ago and sent them to the Pet Cemetery of Tucson. We were given all the time we needed to sit with Champ—holding him, sharing stories, and grieving together. That space meant everything. Thank you, Darla. I appreciate you more than you know.
Extremely humane way to say farewell to our beloved Bonnie, our frenchie was treated with respect and dignity and kindness like no other. I was able to see her when i missed too much, hold her and play music to her. Thank you The Pet Cementery of Tucson and the amazing lovely lady who runs it. Im sorry i forgot her name, i was in a state of grief at that moment
