My Father has been buried here since 2014. I have never seen this disgusting condition of my parents section (or any other section) in the 11 years I've been coming here. I am in the funeral business and I know there is specialty equipment that can be laid down under heavy machinery to prevent this from happening. At the bare minimum they could use plywood boards to create a surface that the tires cannot dig into. Look at the photos I took and you can see there was a route to take that would have disturbed a far fewer number of graves as well. This is disgusting and disrespectful to not only my Mother and Father, but to every other person buried there and their families! I overlooked and didn't bring it up to the cemetery staff that they dripped wet cement on my patents grave marker and left it there after it was reset in 2022 when my mom was buried, but this is just too much. With the money that is made from the entire mortuary / cemetery business in general, there's no excuse for any of it! The Messingers should be ashamed of whoever heads up their grounds crew! DO BETTER MESSINGER FAMILY!!!
II would like to share my pleasant experience with Paradise Memorial Gardens. My father passed away due to COVID-19, and with all the restrictions at that time and me being stricken with COVID as well, I did not have a proper service for him. I have kept his ashes at home, and when the opportunity finally arrived, I started visiting different cemeteries around town. I happened to visit Paradise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. There I saw an older gentleman going around with a washcloth wiping and cleaning, keeping things neat. I did not know who he was at that time, but we had a good conversation for about half an hour. It was Paul Messinger. He said he has the most quiet neighbors in town. I see he takes pride in his work. The staff was helpful. Mr. Stivers assisted me. Mr. Paul Messinger was there as well. I purchased a 6-comp at the newer section of the mausoleum. Now I saw Mr. P. Messinger passed away early 2025. I will always remember him very well and tell my family how I ended up choosing Paradise Memorial Gardens.
I agree with Mr X’s review. My father was recently buried here and we have had a horrible experience with everyone we have had to deal with. No one responded to emails, returned calls or cares about providing good service during the most difficult thing a family must go through. Most recently my Father’s marker was placed and the marker was destroyed and has stains all over it! It’s disgraceful! The grounds are not kept up either. My father would be so upset if he knew the treatment we received from the place he chose for his final resting place. It’s very disheartening to think the people running this place don’t seem to have a heart at all. Unacceptable. People need to know how poorly this place is run now. I would add photos but it’s not allowing me to add them!
My family are beyond upset at how this place is now run! My husband was buried there on August 4, 2025. We gave up trying to buy the grave marker from them because of the unavailability of staff and purchased the stone elsewhere. We trusted them to do the placement of this stone, but when we saw it placed (just this week) we were very angry because they have ruined the stone! It now looks like the work of an amateur, with stains and even cement covering the inside of the stone! Then they left cement globs all around the stone!. It is unbelievable! We have given up trying to get things done properly with the staff they have in place. Also, the grounds are not taken care of either. The Messenger family would not be pleased to be associated with how this place is operated. Where is the oversight????
Kat Hastert, with Paradise Memorial Gardens, made the most difficult time we've experienced as a family such a warm and pleasant experience! Her bubbly personality put us at ease. She came up with several options for our needs, and she even made us smile as we worked through a lovely end result. We have a new friend in Kat! I highly recommend her and Paradise Memorial Gardens!
