Forever Pet Crematory

Our sweet little Ginger was the center of our universe. She was truly our child. So, when this unfortunate day came, the process of how her cremation happened really mattered to me. I wanted her body to be treated with dignity and respect when she was out of my sight, and I did not want to just leave her somewhere or wait for her ashes to be returned at some future date. I was incredibly fortunate to have found Forever Pet Crematory! This is a family run business (we met the father and son) and has only been open about a year. We did the Private Witness Service and I highly recommend it! With the Private Witness Service, we were given some time with Ginger in a private room to say our final goodbyes (we were not rushed). The son was so sweet when he carried her out of the room (we had wrapped her in a blanket - she was 13 lbs and loved to be carried everywhere). They then took her back to the cremation area where they did the clay paw print we ordered. We later learned that the dad (a vet who performs the service) really likes to make sure to get the best paw print possible. So, since we were there to witness the cremation, he did several to make sure we would have a great option as they dried (if you don't stay, then he'll make sure it's the best print possible before he moves to the next step). After the paw print, the son turned on a TV so that we could see Ginger before she was put in the cremation unit (this offered a little closure and would also be helpful for anyone concerned about getting the right ashes back - we knew for sure it was Ginger). The dad was so incredibly respectful when he moved Ginger into the unit. I thought I saw him say a little prayer when he did it and I later confirmed with the son who said that his dad likely said some peaceful words because his dad's been with animals his entire life and truly believes the end of life process should be handled with respect. The TV was left on until the very end (about 2 hours) when they turned it off while they collected the ashes and then brought her into us. It was a huge relief to bring her home with us the same day. We chose the Tree of Life Rosewood Urn and it's really beautiful. While we never wanted this day to come, I thought this process was peaceful and am so extremely grateful for the thought that Forever Pet Crematory put into ensuring this day was handled with grace. They showed tremendous respect and dignity to our little Ginger. For anyone wondering, they hold the Private Witness Services first thing in the morning so they can get ashes back to you the same day. So, we put ice bags at the bottom of one of her tall-sided dog beds, wrapped her in a soft blanket, and laid some thin ice bags on top of her to keep her body cool. That process worked well.

I truly loved the service here. They were extremely respectful and kind . I came in worried because I’ve heard stories about crematories switching up the ashes within other dogs. It’s safe to say they didn’t so I for sure know that the one home right now with me is my coco .They were able to get my CoCo back to me asap and that’s something I’m grateful for . I’m happy she’s back home with me.

Excellent service! Prompt and professional. Sensitive to situation and very accommodating. Did not know that such a service was available. Glad I found them. Cannot speak highly enough about my satisfaction with this service!

Very nice people who are considerate of customer's feelings at a rough time in their lives. Never had to deal directly with the crematory before, and they make it easy. Should I ever need to, would use them again.

They are so respectful of the animals and parents. And very quick at getting our Lucy girl back to us
