My family and I want to express our deep gratitude to Tom and Valerie Usery for their excellent and sensitive service. We could not have hoped for a more attentive, caring, detail-oriented service when my brother passed away. They were always available to answer our questions. They were clear and upfront on costs, which were more reasonable than those of other crematoriums in Arizona. They did everything as agreed, on time, and with great care. In fact, they extended their kind and helpful hands beyond the requirements of the agreement. We are so grateful to them for this impeccable, heartfelt service at the time when we needed it most. Thomas and Valerie were extremely comforting during this very sad time of loss. Valerie offered clear direction of information and she answered all of our questions with great love and support. This family owned and operated group at Ascend are amazing. I wasn’t put on hold when I called there was no hesitation in responding and I felt comfortable allowing them to care for my loved one. One of my favorite likes about Ascend is that they don’t out source, they honestly offer great love in the services they offer.

Very flexible, accommodating and thoughtful staff. We cremated our mother at that facility. They allowed us to have a Hindu ceremony n prayers with priest, and allowed us all the time we needed. Cost was fair and affordable for any average family. The staff Valerie and her assistant very kind, polite, and sensitive to our needs.

First things first: if you're looking for a well decorated, softly lit funeral home with soft music playing, you are not in the correct place. If, however, you want what we did - a professional, responsive, kind, efficient and affordable way to cremate your loved one - you have found the right place. Every interaction with the folks at Ascend - all family and owners of the business - was professional and kind. I didn't learn until I had already had a couple of interactions that I was corresponding with the owner, Valerie. I really can't say enough positive about the way that Ascend Cremations took care of my loved one. They'll always have a place in my heart for their kindness in such a difficult time.

This is the review you wish you never have to write but when you do it’s important to let others know how amazing Ascend was to work with. Their compassion and professionalism made our impossible task possible. In the end they felt like friends we entrusted our loved one with and know she was in the best of care.
