I can’t speak highly enough of the experience I had with Horizon. In an immensely difficult time they showed compassion and made the process as thoughtful and smooth as possible. Matt was so caring and you can tell he really cares for furbabies and their families. He even gave me cat food for our neighborhood cats. The process in its entirety took less than 24 hours and we received our beloved Bongo’s ashes in a beautiful box and everything was beautifully curated with paw prints and a paw mold, and candle. Thank you guys so much.

Going through an unexpected and devastating loss of our dog a couple months ago was incredibly difficult but I am so grateful for Horizon! We were thankful for Matt coming to our house and being sincere, patient with the time we needed, and unbelievable kind. Not only was the cremation presented with such love but we just received a Christmas card with deep sympathy, knowing that we are still grieving that loss. I am so touched by the thoughtfulness of Matt and the entire Horizon Family. It’s undeniably hard to go through the loss of a pet but I will only trust Horizon from here on out and will recommend them to everyone I know.

I can’t thank Dr. Capitanio and his team enough for the kindness and compassion they showed when me and my family lost my cat, Souei. Losing him was so hard, but Dr. Capitanio went above and beyond to make the process gentle and comforting. He came personally to pick up my cat and the next day brought his ashes in a beautiful box along with a candle, a bookmark, and several paw prints of my cat that we will cherish forever. Every detail was so thoughtful and handled with so much care. You can truly tell they care about every pet and family they help. I’m so grateful for how respectful and understanding they were during such a hard time thank you so much and if anybody is looking for a pet crematory, this is the place to go!!!

Our Dog "Oreo" passed away at home of natural causes at 10:25pm on September 18th, 2025. After spending approximately 1 hour and saying are good byes and see you laters with Oreo's body and spirit, I was impressed, Horizon Pet Cremation Service were at the door to retrieve her. Can't thank enough, wayne & Dr. Matthew Capitanio for the Best in Quality service and for Helping make everything a very smooth, fast and comfortable transition during this challenging time. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I rescued 2 ferrets from a horrible situation 3 years ago where the ferrets were being starved. Poe was an incredible ferret. He thrived in his new home. He went blind and deaf a year after I rescued him but he didnt let that stand in his way. He lived only 9 short years, but the 3 years I had him he made such a huge impact on my life. The last 2 days of his life were spent in my arms and he took his final breath as I held him. Im new to the area and still trying to get my financial footing set. Horizon was professional, caring, understanding and offered affordable services. I truly appreciate them.
