This is the review that every pet owner dreads having to write one day, but I'm really grateful we found A Greener Place. We had initially heard of water cremations from a couple of acquaintances, and talked with a few places. Immediately, there was such a difference in working with Harley and Patrick here. Other places had a really hard time answering our questions, or putting together the custom services we were looking for, but here, they are both the owners and are involved in every aspect of the business. It was so easy to work with them, during a time that is so difficult, they made it as low stress and calm as possible, which we can't thank them enough for. They both went above and beyond to not only work with us on (some pretty large) custom requests, but they also did it with so much thoughtfulness and kindness. You can tell they really care, and are animal lovers themselves. They cared for our girl like she was theirs, and even all the way to picking up her remains, everything was so carefully put together - her imprints, her ink prints both came in a beautiful condolence card, and they have wonderfully carved urns. I have referred them to a few other people in just the last two weeks, as we've had people ask us who we went with for our baby girl, and they are now the only place we will work with when the time comes again.

This is the 2nd time using A Greener Place aquamation services, both times for a snake. They did an amazing job and captured an imprint of her tail and head where you can clearly see the scales. It’s beautiful and very touching. I would definitely use their service again if the time came where I needed to. I love this more environmentally friendly alternative to cremation and recommend you support this family business without reservation.

My dog passed away following a sudden illness and the veterinarian who came out recommended A Greener Place to take care of the next steps. I am so grateful this is the place we ended up choosing. The staff were incredibly considerate and respectful. We requested a nose print and they provided that along with some ink paw prints. Thank you to the team for treating my boy with such love.

This review is long overdue but I felt it was still necessary for pet owners to read when dealing with a loss. The quality of service was outstanding for the cost. The aquamation process is a win-win for the pet owner, the deceased pet, and the planet. However, the most important factor that stood out was the genuine care and compassion the staff provided which made a painful time a little more bearable. Thank you for taking care of Lily at the end of her 22 years of being the best cat I could have hoped for!
